It gives a pretty good view on things. In fact, I think there could have been room for even more emphasizing the problem. Cuz we spend a lot of money on completely useless shit, which might still be quite costly to produce.
Wonder how many of us here have (in)directly supported child labor, or rather how much?
I'd recommend checking out the other videos on The School of Life channel if you enjoyed this, I find it to be very good
I never really get the complaints about the bad television programs or not wanting philosophy.
For better or worse, a lot of people don't want to do philosophy and live fulfilling lives without it. Television programs are nice to watch, and I don't think intellectuals should look down on people for enjoying mass media or consuming goods and services which a small number of people view as "unnecessary"
