“That was a completely garbled interview. I was in New York and it was so noisy and the journalist was asking me questions on a red carpet at the National Board of Review,” he said. “She completely got the wrong fragments of information that were just not true. I said no, [another ‘Mad Max’ movie] will not be next, and she took that to mean I never wanted to make another ‘Mad Max.’ It won’t necessarily be next, but I have two more stories.”
fuck that noise from before. instead resume previous argument of: could a sequel even live up to it???
WITNESSED
Oh, the next one gotta be really good to not be mediocre in comparison with Fury Road.
a few days ago i was thinking about how my dream job was to work on the cars in a mad max film, then that other article popped up
then, as soon as this one appeared, i said out loud to myself
"DREAMS
DON'T DIE."

Well, Fury Road lived up (and many will argue that it was better) to Road Warrior.
Who knows?
Let's just hope he stays alive long enough to film two more. Hasn't been a kind year to famous people so far.
Yeah, this makes far more sense.
What a day!!
WHAT A LOVELY DAY!!

given the trend thus far he's safe for the immediate future if he's not 69 and has cancer
I still gotta see max, there's a few theaters in my area still showing it at sparse times apparently
What if we keep making Mad Max films, blowing up all this gasoline and spending shitloads of money to portray a post apocalyptic world that we end up creating the situation depicted in the films?
Woah.

I want to be an extra for that. Wonder how many crazies they will take?

In the grim future of 2050, mad max films outnumber living humans 2:1
Can an aging Tom Hardy grunt his way to making it 3:1?

My dream would he to score one of these films, like fuuuuck the fury road ost is awesome. The composer did an AMA too, he's super cool.
I'm scoring a film for an FPer and I've considered slipping in bits inspired by that ost, since his film is a bit mental too :v:

It's gotta have like at least... 3 more cars.
After the recent headline I came to terms with Fury Road being the last Mad Max film, but now I'm really happy to hear this.
When the interviewer asked George Miller if he really wasn't going to make another Mad Max, George pointed at him and said "Witness me" and did a triple backflip out the window while a huge ass car pileup happened around him.
