I thought this was common knowledge. Been doing this with extension cords for years.
Been doing this for years. I always cringe when I see someone wrapping a cable around their arms.

As an audio engineer: [B]Learn to wrap like this[/B] It keeps all strands in the inner core and shielding in better condition for longer so you wont have to replace them as often. Its also a common courtesy to return rental gear with cabling wrapped like this. it makes storing it easier . Edit: this is also called "over & under" and good lord if you don't do this on tour you don't stay long.
