Gotta admit the post transformers Shia is impressing me with all those "acting heavy" movies he has been into.
I like how this is a post apocalyptic movie but the trailer ignores that fact.
I like how this is a post apocalyptic movie but the trailer ignores that fact.
Wow holy shit I was expecting a slowish paced character study or an American Sniper-ish film. Jesus Christ trailers are getting worse. Oh my god it's the Last of Us movie we never asked for.
that was a really well edited trailer.
i don't think there's been a trailer in recent years that wasn't well edited
I like how this is a post apocalyptic movie but the trailer ignores that fact.
Wow this is a post-apocalyptic movie? Good on them for keeping that "secret" with the trailer.
I like how this is a post apocalyptic movie but the trailer ignores that fact.
And I thought it was going to be about the struggles of a man struggling with problems at home due to PTSD
And I thought it was going to be about the struggles of a man struggling with problems at home due to PTSD
I half expect that this will be the twist reveal.

Sound effects can make or break a movie with combat in it and the sound effects in that room were spot fucking on
I hate it when movies have this "brightness" in every scene. The Hobbit movies had this too. It makes it look so unrealistic and fake. Real world isn't that bright.
i don't think there's been a trailer in recent years that wasn't well edited
Many modern trailers often have hacked up sound bytes thrown together to form single or complete sentences and it's very noticeable, as well as irritating to hear.
Many modern trailers often have hacked up sound bytes thrown together to form single or complete sentences and it's very noticeable and actually irritating to listen to.
Worse is the trailers that give everything away:
Worse is the trailers that give everything away:
A ~2 hour movie shortened to 2 minutes, which gives me enough time to see that Tom Hanks was only in this for the paycheck. Whenever I hear a hacked up sentence in a trailer, it's the audio equivalent of "text thAAt lOOKS liKE tHiS" But enough of that, this movie looks like it could be good, and I have a feeling Shia's going to be giving a very solid performance.
Can't say I'm a big fan of those color filters.
I like how this is a post apocalyptic movie but the trailer ignores that fact.
what? what? really? Shit I wasn't getting that at all and now I'm looking forward to it even more.
trailer looks like someone had a field day with the cheap default filters in After Effects
It kind of looks like there's vaseline on the lens
It's about a veteran suffering from PTSD. He had a lot to say how he was affected by portraying this character. I'm honestly really interested in this movie.
Apparently there are reviews already This man has directed pretty mediocre movies (according to RT, however i've seen Fighting and it's just junk with good stars)
It kind of looks like there's vaseline on the lens
The lens was probably borrowed from the local colonoscopy clinic
Looks like someone watched Breaking Bad.
