[media]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zWlUgI4cB4M[/media] A great piece on the Trump supporters that 'the media doesn't want you to see'.
Oh god that guy at 4:15 sounds like he's seconds away from crying.
First thing I've seen from her show and I'm not shocked to see it's just as bad as I expected. She had an entire segment just to make Trump supporters look like idiots and she managed to look like a condescending idiot more often than not. The blonde girl who said the wall got 10 feet taller was like, the only truly embarrassing Trump supporter on there. Her conversation with the black guy was condescending and gross and the white guy at the end who pointed out that Trump wasn't literally threatening to shoot someone made the host and the "fact checker" both look like complete idiots. Good job Sammy! [editline]16th March 2016[/editline] By the way, is it possible for a just [I]one[/I] mediocre female comic's short-lived TV show to not have a stupid overtly sexual title? Full Frontal.. Epic, like the sex thing, right? Kinda like Inside Amy Schumer.. Or Another Period.. Or like 3 other shows I can't remember the name of because they got dropped immediately.
Oh god, each of these supporters made absolutely no sense, even when she tried to be (almost) sensible with them the fact checker crying reflects Politifacts attitude towards not being relevant anymore anyway, Bee is pretty much one of the best late night hosts along with Meyers and Oliver, perfect combination of comedy and scorn for awful people

Think you need to reconsider the definition of 'dropped immediately'. I kinda watched him for a week and then dropped it.
If her intention was to make them look like idiots, then she did a pretty bad job.

His Closer Look segments are good journalism and he is small time enough that he doesn't hesitate to call Trump an awful person.

I also agree that this wasn't her best bit, and this is the stuff she excels at.
Never heard of this women, so I got to ask: Why is she standing in front of the camera like she just shit her pants?
Isn't this thing a staged satire, guys? I mean, the simultaneous chants of "weee temporary it's temporary" was what first gave it away

i dont think she was trying to make them look like idiots, i think she was trying something new and was trying to understand trump supporters as a liberal and present it to liberals
I think she's just proving that no matter the background of the trump supporter, they're all braindead.

What?! So these people aren't comedy acting? [editline]17th March 2016[/editline] Come on guys this is definitely satire. I just rewatched it and I just can't believe that these people aren't actors, it just screams "College Humor"

But we got people in here who think it was just a ploy for liberals to make Trump more appealing, so everyone is seeing something different in here apparently. Either way, Samantha Bee is no John Oliver/Stephen Coldbert is all I know for certain.

Heavily edited. Don't believe we were all talking at the same time when that question was posed. >Like most Republicans, it wasn’t long before they were blaming the media. One man specifically attacked The Huffington Post for a headline calling Trump a xenophobic racist. The full point actually was "New Hampshire voters go out and vote for Donald Trump and Huffington Post runs an article writing Xenophobe Racist. Did they every think why NH voters actually voted for Trump? You think they all support a racist? No, they voted for Trump because the #1 issue in NH right now is the heroin problem. Where do you think all of that heroin is coming from? South of the border, and they support Trump because he's the only one that actually talks about combating the problem". >“Can you acknowledge that it is literally impossible, as a member of the media, to ignore a person when they say they would punch a protester in the face? Our response was along the lines of... why is it ok for one protester to make a decision that impacts the lives of thousands of people and expect those people not to be angry about that. Why is his right, more important then their rights to peacefully watch a private event for a candidate they support. >One man said that he personally has removed Black Lives Matter protesters for disturbing Trump events and another chalked it up to being about human nature, claiming someone is always going to get punched in the face if you have that many people in one place at one time. Both are true. Mind you that this was filmed 2 and half weeks ago, before the protester received the people's elbow or the Chicago debacle. >Bee then asked the group of they thought it was wrong for the media to report that half of the things Trump retweeted were from white supremacists. “It’s clearly illogical to play the guilt-by-association game because we could do this all day long,” a man said. Taken in context. Left out points made referencing radical supporters that came out to support Obama and how it'd be idiotic to try and paint a whole group of individuals based on the most extreme elements. Bee asked if it was like blaming all Muslims for being the same religion as some terrorists. The man accused Bee of being condescending while Bee asked why some generalizations are okay while others aren’t. >These three things didn't happen in unison. The Muslims question came out in a different context. When he said she was being condescending (we actually taped this part twice) it was in reference to something else completely different that was said. They intertwined that part with the Muslims part to... spin their narrative. >When asked if it is concerning that white supremacists love a candidate that they love a woman replied, “We all love America, I guess. If there’s something we can come together on, we want this country to be great, I think everyone can get behind that.” True, but missing the point that Trump condemned and we condemned white supremacist support. >Another man said that all Americans matter. The group nodded in agreement when Bee lumped everyone in together saying that some are black, white, gay or white supremacists. Don't recall any of this. >The woman who thought we all could come together with white supremacists around loving America reminded Bee that it is important to have a wall so we can know who is in our country and that Mexico would be paying for it. “And you know what Trump said? The wall just got 10 feet taller!” Bee asked how you fact check bluster. The individual interviews lasted between 5-10 minutes, I am assuming this was the only thing that she said that could be used to make us sound silly. Taken out of context. >When asked if it was ok for him that Trump would be representing the country in an “old timey racist way” the man said it was a minor negative. Same as point above. >When one man was accused of becoming angry he swore the look in his eyes was more about “passion.” Witnessed this part, the fact-checker... who only believes liberal facts count as facts, kept pointing out things like "if we stop illegal immigration this country will end up in the great depression". Our guy handled himself well and stumped her throughout his interview and that was the only part they could go with post all the mayhem this week to try and say our passion= violence. It doesn't. Our passion equals a desire to Make America Great Again and understanding what needs to get done to accomplish that. Overall it went a lot better then we could have expected. She was really nice, her staff was awesome, and if given the chance would gladly do it again. [/quote] Perspective from someone that was actually part of the interview panel. You guy should try to remember that the people being interviewed have literally zero power over the editing and presentation of what actually happened. You're viewing this event from Samantha Bee's editorial point of view, after having it run through a production crew full of editors whose sole job is to make Trump supporters look as ignorant and funny as possible so that her mediocre show gets attention and hopefully doesn't get (rightfully) canned immediately after her contract is up. [editline]17th March 2016[/editline] It's funny, I don't support Trump and yet I constantly have to play devil's advocate for him and his supporters because it seems some of you guys can't be adults and attack something of substance rather than carefully constructed liberal narratives about him and his supporters. [editline]17th March 2016[/editline] One funny thing nobody seems to have pointed out is the heavy irony that exists in a liberal commentator making fun of a gay black man for voting for Trump.. As if to say that because he's gay and black, he has to vote Democrat or else he must be stupid, right? That's the joke here, is that gay and black men are bound to liberalism because it's not as though they have their own interests and political ideology that exists outside of Democratic pandering to minority voters. The entire concept is entirely racist and yet nobody seems to catch on to it because it's coming from funny liberal lady on the moving picture box.

oh hey, it's that one person from Daily Show that I don't remember because she was so unfunny.
