People have been telling me that kids her age should know about 10 words and start putting multiple words together. She knows practically all of her ABC's and can count to 20. I've provided a video below. Obviously she's very young so she still can't enunciate some of her letters well, but you can tell by the video she knows the letters. Does anyone know at what age is it normal to know your ABC's and should I start contacting Mensa (joking)? But seriously, is this considered normal, advanced or like very advanced?
I only recently published the video, so it may still be processing.

normal, you've probably just been learning her right
This is normal
normal if you actually know how to teach a child properly
maybe slightly advanced? (because her attention didn't stray very much) but achievements at this age don't mean very much

except that the first years of your life define about 90% of you
No she's 23 months behind everybody else I would book her in for a check up at the doctors asap.
Normal.
She is a T1 Cybernetic organism, composed of an exo-skeleton.
normal
also in the future I would record your video horizontally if possible since most of us watch this on 16:9 and not 9:16

I wasn't originally recording it for FacePunch, I was recording it as a proud Dad. I wasn't thinking about semantics.
Quick, now's your chance to screw her up forever. Teach her the number system in base 8.
Teach her that eleven is pronounced "bitch"
DO IT
Why do people count in months after the first year? She is 22 months, so almost 2 years

No offense, but Facepunch isn't the best place for posting about things such as children. This is a gaming forum full of teens and twenty-somethings.
There's probably a website more suited for what you want to post. That's a bright child you have there though! Hope you continue to enjoy parenthood.

Yes beacuse teens and 20-something year olds are completely dumb with zero knowledge in life

It's still not a very suitable place to post this, don't you agree? A good way to tell is by all the "jokes" people in here are making, although there have been a few good posts.
I just think that there's a forum more suitable for him to post this in.

Of course you are going to get joke posts, but you shouldn't have shunned the OP for posting something most of FP doesn't care about, 'most' being the keyword here. You're bound to have people with kids/experience with kids here.
Why do people count in months after the first year? She is 22 months, so almost 2 years
Because there is a huge difference between 12 months and 18 months, but not that much between 16 years and 17 years.

I didn't shun him, I merely redirected him to someplace more suitable. Don't misinterpret my intentions with negative connotations, although I admit the wording in my original post wasn't the best either.

Sure, other places might be more suitable, but he'll get the answer he needs either way. If he's comfortable posting on FP there's no need really.

12 months is a year and 18 months is a year and a half. i still have no idea why people do this, it only makes sense for the first year

whatever tho i'm not too bothered about how you count age

That's understandable. It's just that I can't imagine the typical parent posting somewhere such as Facepunch.
Dude I'm 18 and I don't know which letters come when in the alphabet. She's better than me.

She probably knows the difference between a month and a year too.

A prime example of this:

Read "My daughter is 22.." and thought "what are you doing here grandpa"

For the most part, when the child turns 2, they start saying 2 and 2 and a half. Prior to 2, most people I know count in months due to the vast amount of knowledge they learn in such a short period of time prior to that age.

you'd be suprised at how many parents there are on facepunch, not everyone is some kind of sweaty basement dweller
I don't find it often to find facepunchers having kids (because many people on facepunch is still young).
good on yeah OP, you're making a damn good dad man.
Yes beacuse teens and 20-something year olds are completely dumb with zero knowledge in life
Generally, teens and 20-somethings are pretty dumb, immature, and lack experience in life. There's a reason the people we learn about in history are usually middle age or later. People who haven't even had to live completely independently have no idea what real life is like. Society listening at all to young people is a pretty modern phenomena. Most ancient societies didn't consider a person a true functioning adult until they were working and married.
