Proof that natural selection does not favor being totally awesome. I'll start with the only dinosaur most people really give a fuck about. Image tagged for size. And yes, birds are dinosaurs, we all know this, please don't be a smartass and post a bunch of modern day birds. Dinosaur-like creatures that aren't technically dinosaurs (such as pteranodon) are welcome, but please don't be posting crap like saber-tooths and mammoths. Dinosaurs (aside from birds) can be generally described as terrestrial archosaurian reptiles with limbs held erect beneath the body, that existed from the Late Triassic to the Late Cretaceous. Remember, images are like dinosaurs: Bigger is better! Also, info is welcome (I'll try to add some stuff to this post in time.)
So you just post pictures, but no info?
Dinosaurs are a conspiracy made by the government to make us taxpayers pay more money!
So you just post pictures, but no info?
Fuck, I knew I forgot something D:
Too many T-rexes on OP, there's more cool dinosaurs out there. What about (For example) Carcharodontosaurus, Giganotosaurus and Spinosaurus? Those were all bigger than the T-Rex
Dragons are like dinosaurs. Once, I ate 18 dinosaurs.
Don't believe it till I go to Jurassic Park.
If anyone knows of an RTS game involving dinosaurs, please PM me. :)
ParaWorld is alright, but may be somewhat difficult to get a hold of.
Here's something everybody already knows dinosours in Jurassic Park were made of clay

This thread must never become like the DMT. Also, more like T-rex appreciation thread. Best dinosaur ever.
This thread must never become like the DMT. Also, more like T-rex appreciation thread. Best dinosaur ever.
Fuck no. Brachiosaurus would stomp T's ass.
I remember one documentary ruining my view of the T-rex. Apparently he was just one big slow but scary looking motherfucker that scared away real hunters from their fallen prey. In other words, a lazy-ass scavenger :saddowns: [editline]24th February 2011[/editline] Also this
Fuck no. Brachiosaurus would stomp T's ass.
Brachiosaurus is too busy being fat to stomp anyone's ass bro. T-rex fo life.
Fuck no. Brachiosaurus would stomp T's ass.
More like 60 meters long Amphicoelias: Now THAT'S badass

Oh hey there, just being a sky dinosaur.
Triceratops are fucking bad ass, where's their section in the op?
[img_thumb]http://d21c.com/AAALynx/dino/Pterodactyl4.jpg[/img_thumb] Oh hey there, just being a sky dinosaur.
Those are considered flying reptiles, not dinosaurs. :frog:
You're supposed to create your own sections for other dinosaurs, I thought that was obvious >_>
[img_thumb]http://d21c.com/AAALynx/dino/Pterodactyl4.jpg[/img_thumb] Oh hey there, just being a sky dinosaur.
Actually the only flying dinosaurs would be birds. Pterosaurs are related with dinos only in that they're both ornithodiran archosaur groups. Also, that pterosaur reconstruction is TERRIBLE: Pointy wings with 3 WEBBED FINGERS!? Really? Pterosaurs had 5 fingers: the thumb that they used to maneuver (Like the birds' alula), 3 fingers they used to walk because they were quadrupeds and a last finger that was used to sustain the ROUNDED skin membrane for flying (Rounded because they needed them for having better aerodynamics, specially giant ones like Pteranodon) And before someone else asks, marine dinosaurs didn't existed: ichtyosaurs are very basal diapsid reptiles, plio/plesiosaurs were a bit related to Tuataras and lizards (Lepidosauromorphs) and Mosasaurs are "marine Komodo Dragons". The most near thing to a "marine dinosaur" are penguins
