Iceland raises its Bardarbunga volcano alert level to orange.
The risk of an eruption at Iceland's Bardarbunga volcano has increased, with signs of "ongoing magma movement", Iceland's meteorological office says.
The risk level to the aviation industry has been raised to orange, the second-highest level, the met office said.
Any eruption could potentially lead to flooding or an emission of gas, the office added in a statement.
Hope this isn't near any populated areas.

It's not.

The vast majority of the population lives in the southwest peninsula.
Hopefully it won't be as bad as the Eyjafjallajökull eruptions four years ago. Remember the ashfall from that blowout? Man, that grounded most flights in the region for months.

Volcanic thunderstorms still look to me like someone's unleashing some sort of destructive Chaos Magick. Still, I imagine they wouldn't be all that big a deal in Morrowind. Well, at least in comparison to the volcanic holocaust that was the Red Year.

Aye, I got stuck in Thailand for an extra few weeks
Well it probably wasn't THAT bad, unless you had problems getting lodging. I've heard Thailand's a nice-ish place for a holiday, though I did hear one story about one of the RPGMakers having his balls (or his friend's balls, I forget the full story) threatened by a hooker.
So one night in Bangkok and the world's your oyster, but a bad night in Bangkok could make you lose your oysters, if you're not careful.

the main issue was that since everyone was stuck there, the hotels raised the prices of their rooms by a ridiculous amount and people had no choice but to pay it as they had no where else to go
Here's a live cam of the volcano -not the most exciting thing at the moment though.
Ouch, right in the pocketbook. But at least it wasn't in the gemstones.
At least we won't have a hard time pronouncing this one.
A lot of foreigners seem to be making a big deal of it, but apparently most people I know don't even give a shit.
Just don't be here if/when it erupts, or you'll be stuck here, who knows how long.

If that's complex to a Nord then I don't want to know what compact is to a Nord.

I can pronounce it correctly since I had an Icelandic colleague at a job I used to have but damn, it's still long and complex and uses letters we haven't used for hundreds of years over here.
A simple explanation is that ö is pronounced like the u in burn, and urn, just like the scandinavian ø/ö, ð is pronounced like th in that and there, þ is pronounced like th in thorn and earth

I don't know how to explain ó, but I know how to pronounce that too :v: I just don't have anything to compare it to
The volcano released approximately 0.15 million tonnes of CO2 each day, but the massive reduction of air travel occurring over European skies caused by the ash cloud, saved an estimated 1.3 to 2.8 million tonnes of carbon dioxide from entering the atmosphere by 19 April 2010.
Last one was good for the environment. :v:
