Instead of posting crazy long posts and new articles all the time I will collect all the interesting news about the Microsoft E3 2010 Media Briefing in this article.
Feel free to post interesting links/video/etc in the linked forum thread.
In (very) Short:
* Microsoft introduced a new glossy-back Xbox 360 console. "Sleeker, "leaner" and "whisper-quiet" according to MS. Comes with build-in 802.11n WiFi and a 250gb HDD for the same price as the current 120GB 360 (299usd). Ships to retailers today, available in stores this week (US-only, rest will get it later (mid-July for EU?) apparently).

I'm not wasting shit until my Xbox elite dies.
Fuck off Microsoft. I already payed for an elite, I ain't buying this.
What's so slim about it? Sure it looks shiny, but I'd rather stick with my Elite. What Sony did is they took a monster of a console and shrunk it way down. I'm not seeing this here, rather it looks like I'm viewing a Xbox wearing a corset.
3 months later, 360 slim rrods...
Well if its $300 with no games with it I don't see a reason to get it f you can get a bundle.
OK, so, they finally get the whole WiFi thing is, and they catch up to the Slim..but they do the wrong thing.
They made is glossy, the same exact mistake Sony made originally! It's a damn dust magnet. 500gb PS3 tomorrow? Yes please.

It looks sexy, I want to fuck it.

Dude, let's take a look at it.

It's black.

The power button is metallic.

It's glossy.

The case makes it looks like some alienware shit.

Did I mention it runs Halo?
Microsoft wont need to make it anything special, it's a masterplan. Kids will stick to it like flies on fresh dung. Glossy, black, alienwarelike dung.
What a waste of money. I'll just buy Kinect and enjoy it on my normal Xbox 360 Elite.

Or 250gb hard drive, noise reduction, reduced size, and built in wifi which would cost you on the previous Xbox around $120.
Does it still RROD? Or have they fixed and while i still stick to the argument All Xbox 360s RROD.

Still not very slim. What we need is the next xbox. Not just a rehash.
Still milking the 360 I see.

v:v:v Yeah I suppose, it's better to buy a new exbawks, these cable things hurt my brains and I can't stack the thing where I want it.
God damn.
Thats a pretty little Sexbox
Kinect?
What the fuck?
I liked Project Natal Better.
Back to my Wii I guess.

RROD was practically eliminated in late 2008 with the release of the new Jasper chipset
Well, seeing as I'm still stuck with my old non HDMI compatible Pro model, this new one looks pretty awesome...
hehe i still have mine from the 2005 launch
boy did i pay out the ass for being early

I don't know, my mate had two 2009 models RROD on him.
But maybe he just puts them in stupid places :v:
I'm so god damn sick of Microsoft.
I thought the 360 was already pretty slim. Not Wii level, but nowhere near the original PS3.
It looked like someone kicked it and dented it where the power button is.

I had a 360 I got from the Walmart Midnight Release at launch, and it ran perfectly until just over a year ago when I was updating it during a thunder storm and the power surged. My stupid friend however bought a brand new one less than six months ago and has already red-ringed it. It's all in how people treat in. Most of the time, the problem is user error. I'm hard on gaming platforms. I've had the 360 running for several days at a time, but it never overheated once. Don't blame user stupidity on someone else.

Original PS3 isn't that much bigger than an original 360.

He does put it in a cupboard when its on, with the door closed.
So I do believe it is his stupidity.

Yeah, mine has roughly three feet of uninterrupted space around it at all times. Also, my room is incredibly hot ever day, and can get to over 100 degrees at times, so its harder for me to keep mine cool.
So you guys don't get mad at Sony for making a slim version of the PS3 but you get mad at Microsoft for making a slim version of the Xbox, what's up with that?

For one, people think cutting down the size of a product means ripping off of another product that already have its size reduced.
