The winner will be unveiled and playable at this year's Eurogamer Expo, taking place this September. We’re looking for amateur and student game designers from across the country to come to us with their concepts for a top quality mobile/tablet game. Utilising some of the industry’s brightest brains, we’ll select one concept and help the lucky winning team create their game and make their vision a reality. Reaching out to gaming fans everywhere, the project will culminate with the beta game launch at the Eurogamer Expo on 27th September. And what’s more, we’ll be giving the winning team £10,000 to help support them with their further development in the industry. How does it work? We're looking for teams of 3-4 members, aged 18-35, to pitch their game ideas using the entry form below. That's from 18th June to 26th September, so make sure you're all free! As the game development begins the world will be able to follow your journey through a series of specially created weekly blogs and video diaries, allowing fans to get involved and suggest ideas on the fly Once the game is finished, your team will be heading down to the Eurogamer Expo at London's Earls Court from 27th-30th September to demo the game prototype to the trigger happy gaming public!
Was about to get excited until I read
They often can't include kids in it for legal reasons.
Expected a story about a middle aged rich guy who has never had a girlfriend donating money towards a gaming competition. Was disappointed.
