Yonkers police believe a suspect who fled after a double murder last year may be back in town - and hiding out in women's clothing.

Ronnel Jones has been on the lam since he and two other thugs burst into a Locust Hill Ave. apartment on July 6 in a robbery attempt that left two men dead and four others wounded, including a 5-year-boy, police said.

The 22-year-old Jones took off after the killings, but Detective Sgt. Patrick McCormack, a police spokesman, said they've received "multiple calls" that he's been spotted in drag.

Cops are handing out flyers that contain a picture of the 5-foot-11, 180 pound suspect. There's also a $5,000 reward for his capture, McCormack said.

Jones' accomplices - Brian Roach, 21, of Yonkers, and Daniel Sanchez, 23, of Brooklyn - were nabbed shortly after the killings, and were charged with murder, attempted murder, robbery, burglary and weapon possession.

Police ask anyone who has information on Jones' whereabouts to call Detectives Marvin Oakley or Scott Griffith at [phone].[/release]
