For a long time we've been talking about how Tinychat is plagued by downtime and glitches. We've tried alternatives; none of them seem to work. Then, I had an epiphany. What if I bought my own website, coded webcam and text chat, then released it to the public? So while ripped out of my mind I bought a .net domain for a year. I giggled for a bit, then bought some hosting for it. For the cherry on top, I recruited expert website programmer Internetslive to help me build my website from the ground up. So here we are. Welcome to the website.

-Automated Youtube playlist system (add a video to the queue and it will play automatically and keep track of times played)
-Slightly easier interface
-Cool sounds and shit
-Visualizer for trip purposes (sorta like MilkDrop but browser based)

[b]HOW TO LOG-IN AND START CHATTING:[/b]

So the login system is a bit fucked at the moment. NOT A BIG DEAL. Follow these steps and you'll be camming and shit in no time.

1) Select your gender, or if you'd prefer to keep that anonymous, just select GROUP
2) Enter your username. If you've been a Tinychat regular, please use your TC username so you're recognizable
3) Hit log in and welcome to the site!

For webcamming and to see other's webcams:

1) An Adobe Flash box will pop-up as soon as you get into the main lobby. Remember to hit "Allow" so that DDFP420.net can broadcast your cam and mic.
2) If your webcam does not show up in the bottom right of the screen, click "Start webcam" at the top of the page
3) To see others, click the little HEADSET ICON next to the user you want to see in the userlist
3a) THIS OPENS A PRIVATE CHAT WINDOW BY DEFAULT. REMEMBER TO CLICK "PUBLIC CHAT" TO GET BACK TO THE MAIN LOBBY. Your chosen webcam windows operate independently from the chat window; feel free to organize your webcams any way you'd like

our WIP applet wasn't working very well and everyone was bitching, so we're just using the tinychat API until we get a more stable version of our own app working
