scott bakula (you might know him from star trek enterprise) plays sam, a time travelling scientist who is forced to leap back in time into different bodies by way of quantum physics in order to "turn back what once went wrong" and hopefully leap back into his body again [sp] it never happens except for a few times where he illogically lets himself leap back again [/sp] in this episode he leaps into the body of a legally retarded character whose brother gives him an employment at a construction site if i recall correctly
i only remember him being in two episodes however, although the brother is in three. in the second one sam is intercepted by an anti-leaper whose job it is to set wrong what once went right and is apparently hired by the embodiment of the devil (sam is of course guided by god or something) and tries to get sam/the retard framed for rape
