This is the best Cooking game I've ever played! Too bad its all in Japanese but check it out. The game is called "ore no ryouri".

I actually liked the books, might look at it.
The books have a good bit of action, but the "romance" and "drama" aspects are vile, Twilight-esque shitpiles.
A game would have to be a hardcore survival simulator with a realistic damage system.

It's some book that rips off the plot of Battle Royale.
They're okay books but they're aimed at horny modern day tweens, so of course it doesn't have an original plot.
If the romance aspect was removed, it would be a really entertaining series.

It's already been said but Battle Royale dominates Hunger Games. Japanese names are annoying as fuck though if you aren't used to reading them.
I don't think a Hunger Games video game would be very fun. The vast majority of the book is cleaning infected wounds and gathering food.
Even though the plot is pretty much shit-stained Battle Royale, Stephen King hailed it for some reason.
