Animations looked terrible, and felt like it was trying to be as sad as the first trailer.
I can't help but feel this one isn't as good partly because we are expecting it this time around.
Also, am I the only one who enjoyed Dead Island? It wasn't an amazing game but it was pretty damn fun with friends.
Is this DLC or a new game?
New game.
Also I agree, trailer didn't have as much of an impact as the first and definitely felt forced. Though personally I'm just excited to hear anything about the game.

Their facial expressions don't change one bit throughout (You would expect something if you were about to commit suicide) and I don't know why but the guys model looks laughably generic, like they went onto a stock model site and just chose the first male character.
So, they get tossed in their boat from a storm, not at all hurt.
They are standing on the floor when the boat is sideways. the propane tanks are sat ontop of the stove when the boat is sideways.
gravityyyyy D:

Yeah they could have probably just replaced him with a ken doll. Honestly it isn't a bad trailer or anything but instead of trying to emulate the feel of the dead island trailer they could have just tried something new.
How the fuck do you end up in the middle of a city, storms don't just toss you across the ocean.
And I like how they barely have any scratch from such an accident
Who gives a shit about a couple WE WANT KIDS DEAD OR DYING SO WE FEEL THE DRAMATIC AFFECT

Ugh...
What are you doing?
Nowhere near as good, and I personally considered the hanged man with the title a signature for this game, the cardboard zombie is really awkward.
Like, more awkward than the actual zombies.
I liked Dead Island, I'm probably gonna try this one.
Why do they make the trailers all serious when the game itself is not?
I liked the first one alright but I still haven't finished it.
It's fun but it gets too stale before I can get all the way through. I was the same way with Borderlands and Far Cry 2.
it's funny because the games that they piss out, actually look like shit
Good god their face models and the animation on general were shit.
lame zzzzzz
It was done by a different company this time. Remember, games companies outsource these projects to VFX/Animation houses. The first one was done by Axis Animation in Glasgow, Scotland. A few of my mates actually worked on it.
No idea who done this one, or why Axis didn't do it again... but this one is totally sub-par.
That said, I reckon any company would have a hard time topping the first cinematic.
It took me so long to finish the first one, my friends all did it in matter of days and it took me weeks, I loved it though. [sp]End boss was ridiculous, one hit kill with an old smokey crowbar[/sp]
man that was creepy
If you could find the remains of the boat somewhere in the actual game that'd be pretty cool.

I loved the first one a lot, I thought the trailer was fine, not as good still emotional though with the music and still okay maybe the animation wasn't amazing, but still emotional with setting and music. I look forward to this, though. Also a tsunami could do that, but it's weird that they are unhurt.

Took me six months.
Those retards would not have been killed if they hadn't parked their yacht in the middle of a busy street.
I just realised I never really got around to playing the first game through, just dicked around for a couple hours with friends.
Is it really crap playing through by yourself? I don't suppose there's loads of people playing the game anymore and I get more immersed on my own anyway.

It's possible
