That car's ugly as shit. Paint it one colour.

Congrats to the guy for beating cancer though.

Matte black with the red accents would look great on it.
It's so important to be passionate about something, if you only stand up for working and living off your life then there needs to be a change very soon.

It's funny, you often see people laughed at or mocked for being passionate about something. But, I laugh at people who don't have any passion for a hobby or something unique in their lives.

What if it's something disgusting?
I'm not a great fan of how it looks, but it must take some serious dedication (and you must care a LOT) to push a car so fast its limit. 700hp is around 2.5x a normal Evo's power, right? With a mostly original engine that's amazing. Great car and story.

Whatever makes you happy as long as it's not at the expense of others?
I'm talking about the people who just spend their weekends shopping or watching TV
You need something you can get behind and interact with, IMO. Even if it's collecting stamps

This guy had a passion for cars and that's great. Lots of people would find that dull, or a waste of money
Did i miss them revving the engine at all? I dont think I heard them do it :(
Those rims look really silly, it's like they're way too wide for the tyres. The rest of the car looks cool though.
looks expensive as fuck
Stock and used in my country, costs upwards of 20k

My honest opinion of Evo's is, you can slam and and you can do whatever you want but to me I always view it from it's roots as a Rally car.
When I see them almost rubbing their own wheel arches I feel a little sad, great track cars and day to day vehicles though.
seems like a nice guy but holy shit almost everyone hates these kinds of cars. its so fucking ghetto with that annoying exhaust and stupid tow hook and also going the speed of smell over any speed bump

At least he actually liked them because he has a connection with the place they are from instead of in the weeb way.
Evo's are not bad at all. They hold value and will literally outhandle a Gallardo (See the Top Gear episode). Plus, Japanese cars are very resilliant to being ran hard.
Stop being so hard on this guy. He has a pretty awesome car. I'm trading mine in a year or so for an Evo 10.
Everyone assumed I hated the car, but that's not true at all, I really like Evo's, I just don't like paint differences like this.

I think it's fairly likely that the colour scheme is not particularly contemplated, it's just like that because the parts came in those colours. The gray appears to be the original colour, then he replaced various parts with carbon fiber which I'm pretty sure comes in that black-ish hue, and it's possible that the red parts came like that as well.

Thats why you don't slam them and keep them stock.
At least imo is the best way of having one. Plus, stock cars always look great as they are. Simpler.

Exactly because of this.
My friend has a 106 xsi, thing was lowered by the first owner, he has to go over bumps sideways, and when he gets the car inside the McDonald's underground parking lot, it stands only on 2 wheels, dancing about, when trying to go over the bump.
It's a pretty cool car. Great for fearless teens and early 20's full of adrenaline.

I work with a guy who had an Evo 8. He had it up around 400hp and it was lowered 2-3 inches. He had no issues with it. Didn't look ghetto at all. Sounded awesome, not like a lawnmower at all.
looks tacky
it's shit loads of carbon fiber, tow strap because it has to have that for alot of tracks, left headlight because intake.

I meant completely slammed, like almost unable to go over any bump or derivations of bumps or subcategories of bumps :v:
The car doesnt looks ghetto at all to me anyway, mainly because ghetto bustas cant even maintain one of these.
Power aside, it looks like he just pulled a random bunch of mis-matched evo and body-kit panels from a junkyard and put them on his car :v:
Also lowering a rally style car that much whyyyyy
