Best way to commit suicide? (Not a ban-me or troll thread) - General

Hello; setting up a sequel to my muffled noise in ear thread I've found out that I am going deaf. Now before the effects fully take in I'm curious as to what is the most painless, tranquil way to commit suicide? I don't want to jump in front of a speeding bus or blow my brains out with a gun (I don't even have one). I just want a death that's painless and simple. Any ideas at all? And if you could compel me not to suicide that's welcomed as well; but I feel that I am beyond salvation. (Note: This is not a bullshit ban-me thread, the reduction of hearing and ringing is humanly unbearable. Moderators I hope you can understand and not close this thread.)

If you're seriously going to kill yourself because you're not going to be able to hear anymore, I can see what you're getting at, but life is still worth living, even if you're not going to be able to hear anything. If I lost my sense of hearing, I would be extremely sad and pissed off, but I wouldn't kill myself, no matter how unbearable it is.

I don't know any other alternative solutions.

also, best way to kill yourself is not doing it suicide is selfish and pointless, you still have a life to live.

Have you talked to a doctor about getting your hearing fixed? It may be costly, but its better than taking your own life. Suicide should never be an option.

Anyone who commits suicide over something like going deaf is so unappreciative and selfish.

They have hearing aids for deaf people now. Expensive, but they do the job. Look into it. Don't off yourself. Even if you are deaf, you can still walk, talk, and sing, even if you can't hear yourself doing it. It'll be a struggle, but look into the medical research and means of treatment. You might be surprised.

If I went deaf, I wouldn't worry too much because there's likely to be great strides in technology in the next few years alone. I'm sure we'll have some way to fix it soon enough.
