I don't see what's so important about this but those reactions are pretty funny
While I do find it somewhat ridiculous, it does look like fun to be able to sustain such a level of enthusiasm and passion for a sports team.
I don't think I could ever have this much enthusiasm for anything.
University Sports brings in the moolah..
Is everyone excited because he's going from playing the NBA to College Basketball so they want someone famous in their team or something? Either way the look on everyone's face as reality sunk in was priceless.
Without knowing what the fuck this is a about, I have no idea why there's reaction videos about some guy putting on a hat. I'm so confused.
Such a dick move. He was expected to choose U of I and he picked up the hat on purpose to fake us out.
Such a dick move. He was expected to choose U of I and he picked up the hat on purpose to fake us out.
personally if you think that's a dick move then he succeeded with what he was trying to do
Do people really get that excited about high school basketball players committing to colleges? Or is this kid like the Wayne Gretzky of high school basketball? Someone from a school nearby was one of the top high-school football players in the country, set the all time high school touchdown record, and I don't remember it being that big a deal when he decided on a college, even in a football obsessed state.
Let's hope he can fake out that well on the court :v:
The looks of absolute astonishment. It's as if they just watched from across the street someone plough into their car.
Unfortunately yes. For whatever reason, people seem to value it WAY more than the stuff that should actually matter ([sp]like understanding the world through science and shit[/sp]). Maybe it's because people are too stupid to understand it? That seems to be the case for the USA at least.
i don't care about sports and that was the most condescending thing ive ever read
Unfortunately yes.
So does college football though, and I can't seem to find any videos of people filming their living room's reactions to high schoolers committing to colleges.
I wanna see some reactions from Kansas.

Having a top pick high school player to come play for your team is huge. If you have the strongest players on your team, that's obviously a huge benefit. Illinois was 7th seed in the west last year and Kansas was 1st seed in the south. I would've been excited if a first pick chose my local university.
now i want to see some fucking kansas reactions
now i want to see some fucking kansas reactions
Yeah, I wanna see those too.
What the hell is wrong with people. Don't they have actual things to worry about?

why are people recording their reactions to this i dont get it
What's wrong with getting excited about something you have a lot of enthusiasm for?

Oh god, that's golden
OMG why do people care so much about sports! such losers! *alt-tabs back into PC game*
Without knowing what the fuck this is a about, I have no idea why there's reaction videos about some guy putting on a hat. I'm so confused.
Not knowing the context of something makes it hard to understand? My mind is fucking blown.
I don't think I could ever have this much enthusiasm for anything.
My condolences.
Things like this make me wish I could get in to sports
Things like this make me wish I could get in to sports
You should definitely try to watch the NBA. Nearly every game is a spectacle to watch, but definitely pick a franchise to support. You'll get more enjoyment if you've got someone to root for.
Things like this make me wish I could get in to sports
Not a real sports fan but the entire family is for this one Football club. I always sort of fake being a fan of them as well but the atmosphere is just incredible when it goes well with the team or when they score. Sadly i never really was a big fan of football.
