Columbus has a rule book which he uses to help survive. Each time he follows one of these rules, it flashes up on screen in some hilarious fashion. He quickly meets up with another man, Tallahassee, who winds up being his foil in every way. Tallahassee is a gigantic zombie-killing machine with no regard for safety and a strange passion for Twinkies, compared to the tiny, brainy, ever-cautious Columbus. They then meet up with the other two members of their group in a super market (looking for Twinkies) and go on a hilarious and gory adventure to California. In the process, everyone gains a sort of family to replace the one they had lost to zombies or never had in the first place. In short, it's the best zombie movie so far.
I like shaun of the dead more. This one's still a great movie.

I really enjoyed Zombieland, I hope more films like this are made, they are generic but I loved this and Adventureland, Jesse Eisenberg is a great actor.
This is incredible on blu-ray.
I like zombieland. I heard that they are going to make a second movie. I watched it on Facepunch television's livestream. It isn't here where i live yet. But i can't wait to see if it is and buy it on dvd :D.
Zombie land needs more zombies and less romance and doing nothing in that mansion.

I thought the movie was pretty boring actually. I just couldn't get into it for some reason.

Its a movie about ZOMBIES. Hence "Zombie" land. The only cool part was the carnival.
The name doesn't constitute the movie's premise. The movie is about Columbus, Tallahassee, Little Rock and that other chick. The zombies are what holds them together.
I fucking loved this film. It may aswell have been called "Left 4 Dead the movie."
Fucking loved this movie. :D
I thought it was a good movie. It's not something spectacular but it's funny.
Although Shaun of the dead is my all time favorite zombie movie. This one gave it a run for its money, it was very well made and I loved it.
One of my top 5 favorites
Woody Harrelson stole this movie.
Good movie, not as good as Shaun of the Dead.
Picked it up yesterday on Bluray. I fucking love this movie.
I watched it again this morning on the bus, still a really good movie.
this movie was great. just fun for the whole family.
Watching it right now.
zombieland was ok but shaun of the dead was 1000 times better
I watched the movie in a more independent theater. It didn't help that there were sound problems during the first few minutes of the film, which caused the film to need to be stopped for at least ten minutes while the problems were corrected. Once the film started playing, I could clearly see why a lot of people would like this movie. However, something about the movie seemed fake - as if all of the elements looked good, but lacked real depth or thought. It seemed to be a false front, somehow. Shaun of the Dead was real, and entirely a good, well-made film. Zombieland was enjoyable, but it somehow didn't suit me very well. And the sheer number of ads for the film that I see bug me like crazy. I know the movie may go down in history as one of the greatest zombie films, but I feel it was a movie entirely made to just be popular, when Shaun of the Dead was an actual, real work of art.
