"The hiatus is over. Over the past year, we’ve been secretly writing and recording a brand new album. Today, we are excited to share a new song called “The Vengeful One” along with a new music video. It’s off our upcoming album called “Immortalized,” which will be released on August 21, and is available for pre-order today. This album had the arduous task of, in some way, justifying the hiatus; giving the fans something that made it worth our time away from one another. We hope that it succeeds in that task. Thank you for staying with us over the years." Attacking sensationalist media again. Pretty similar to their Land of Confusion video. Also live action The Guy looks kinda odd, kinda got a Hatred vibe from him.
I'm digging it, the music vid was entertaining. Just hoping they'll be able to live up to Asylum.

Gotta admit I'm pretty hyped, haven't heard that voice for ages No way will it beat Asylum, but hopefully it'll come pretty damn close Also that cover art is fucking beaut [t]http://i.imgur.com/HDmxupl.jpg[/t]

What a nostalgia flashback, I fondly remember endless hours on the school bus with us all trying to best recreate "Oh wah aha hah" And all the similar 2000s metal on NFS Most Wanted. Shame this one doesn't have the same punch the old stuff does, and the video is a bit 'Hatred'y. Compare it to any Tool music video, it's a bit of a shame really.
I really like Disturbed but I think they take themselves too seriously sometimes, I hope this album isn't too "preachy". [editline]29th June 2015[/editline] Still hyped though
Ya, though Asylum was honestly their best album all around. Going to be hard to beat that.
That's odd, I thought Asylum was for the most part crap. Did I just get a bad mix? That's very much possible.

That's very much possible.
to each their own I suppose, all of their albums have been good, the odd song here and there that is generally crappy, but i think all in all Asylum had the best amount of good songs. The Sickness is always great and a classic along with Ten thousand Fists. Believe was okay, and who knows from this new one

Death Magnetic is another example of that, though maybe not directly comparable since the main mix is the shitty one
For me its Ten Thousand Fists > The Sickness > Indestructible/Asylum > Believe. I love it all though. Looking forward to this new album. Kinda suprised to see this thread on FP; Disturbed has been my favorite band since like 2006.
You can hear another Disturbed song from the new album on this website http://disturbedone.forumotion.com/

Makes more sense than just rampaging against everyone. And it'd be bad ass to play as The Guy.
