well this could be old but today i found out that 51% of America doesn't believe in evolution and another 30 think it was guided. I mean we dont live in the 18th century. We not only made evolution programs on computers (which you can download here http://www.stellaralchemy.com/lee/vce3d_download.php ) but also observe it in nature all the time. well i guess i will be moving to Denmark.
Quality OP....
I believe in Evolution, that doesn't mean it's true (although 99% likely that it is). It's not taught in a lot of schools either.
Evolution hasn't been proven, there's still missing links. That's why it's called the theory of evolution.
Conspiracy theorist post above me

Awfully unspecific but it's still pretty clear that over 50% don't believe in evolution.
Either way, who gives a shit? Let people believe what they want to believe, it's not doing any harm to anyone else.

i would call you stupid wrong or a troll but. did you know that gravity is also a theory. theory and fact are kinda the same thing

1. evolution, to an extent, has been proven. we know that animals do evolve- as evident by DNA, genes, etc. the fossil record, as of now, can show us the evolutionary paths some species have been through.
2. in science, a theory is the highest status a hypothesis can reach.
Did you know that 99% of statistics are just pulled from some guy's ass?

Well when those 44% are able to directly affect/influence school curriculum to include their asinine ideas, i'd say that's doing a bit of harm
Jookia, they recently "found" the missing links that the Christians were bitching about, I suggest you do some research.

How does being Christian mean you don't believe in evolution? Every christian person I know believes in evolution.

And here we go.

well i would not be like this if it were not for the fact that they try to stop the teaching of it in schools and my teacher himself didn't teach it because he didn't believe in it

He's right.

No they didn't, because there were no really "missing links" to begin with and certainly nothing like what creationists had claimed. Look up "god of the gaps"
I'm not surprised, the same amount of americans actually believe that america is the best country in the world :xd:

I'm Christian and I believe in Evolution, it's like saying the Holocaust didn't happen.

Look up Christianity, come back to me after you're familiar with it.

Don't go to a religious school then. If your teacher refuses to teach something that is part of the curriculum you could talk to the principle.

Oh dear Jesus what have you done.
Now we're gonna have people coming in here saying that it's subjective and just a general shitstorm.
I'm Christian and I believe in Evolution, it's like saying the Holocaust didn't happen.
So you believe in a deity yet don't follow the testament?
it is we gets us er guns an we gets us er bombs woo hoo go merica
You're not funny
when we say piltdown man (i dont know how to say it) and Lucy what other kind of missing link are they talking about
"When we say" "what are they"
What are you even saying, you changed subject/person in the middle of the sentence?
This matters not, people are entitled to their beliefs; let them dwell in their delusions, it keeps them quiet.
Corals in the red sea adapted to the extreme 90 degree water temperature and are thriving while corals around the world are dying from high temperatures. We find shit like this everywhere.
Proof enough for me.
We were monkeys.
Now we are tall skin-monkeys.
Why do people have such a hard time understanding this?

We are not.
This is a common misconception to evolution. We did not evolve from monkeys, we are a species on our own that has evolved throughout the years.
"When we say" "what are they"

Some people are just really close minded and can't grasp other theories or ideas and just ignore them all.

We are apes, not monkeys. There is a difference.
