In the order of the most recently rated one. Would give more (epeen stroking) information than the current layout. Could include multiple names per notice.

Ex:
Bob (Funny), Jim (Funny), and Garry (Bad Reading) have also rated your post in "Condense the rating notifications"

I'm all for non-intrusive solutions to prevent clutter in an otherwise sterile looking website, it just boils down to whether or not they'll consider it in the first place.
