I am so fucking HYPED for this movie
Reviews so far are saying it's not too good. I hope that's not the case because it looks absolutely gorgeous.

Doesn't seem like it will stay true to the short story, but maybe it will be better than it seems? I guess I'll just wait until the reviews come out for it. Then again, I never really thought the short story was something that could be made into a two hour film so there's that.
Let me tell y'all a tale. To pass the time, I'll occasionally go on Wikipedia and search "*upcoming year* in film". I'll be greeted with a list of all upcoming movies for that year. I can see things I wanna be hyped over (Guardians of the Galaxy), things that will be utterly godawful (Sherman and Mr. Peabody), and things that sound amazing but will probably make shit money (Hercules, starring The Rock). I then see "The Secret Life of Walter Mitty". "Huh", I thought to myself, "they're adapting that charming short story about an absentminded old man who gets no respect from anyone in his life. I remember reading that in my freshman year of high school. I suppose I'll just shift my line of vision slightly to the left to see who they have cast in this film." That was when I saw that it would star Ben Stiller and Kristen Wiig. "Oh, so it's going to be fuckawful, alrighty then." Then I watched this trailer and this is a good contender for my most anticipated film of the coming year. I hope it's as good as it looks, I really, truly do.

These types of movies always fester at the box office and many reviewers will call it boring or nitpick. They all have their biases. Almost all of my favorite movies are movies that reviewers said were shit or not worth watching or got completely average scores.
I guess it was time for Ben to leave the museum anyway.
