Where do I start. I just got this album and I must say it is literally the best album ever made. If you haven't heard this (you probably have) listen to it right now. Airbag is one of the best songs ever. Karma Police is just amazing. The Tourist is a great closer. Anyway so yeah.
Fitter, happier, more productive, comfortable, not drinking too much
Regular exercise at the gym, 3 days a week
I still need to give this album a good listen, can't believe I haven't before. My copy's just sitting on my shelf gathering dust.
The vinyl packaging of this album is supreme. Artworks as sleeves.. Feels great to own.
Rated you heart because you like this album. I do not feel it is the best album of all time, but it is quite good and you are a better person for owning it. Hopefully you bought the fucken thing.

If it isn't amazing at first it probably isn't after a couple listens either. It's really all in the athmosphere.
About 4 years ago I became a huge Radiohead fan, first album i bought was OK Computer, and at first the only songs I really liked were the ones I'd heard before I bought it (Lucky, No Surprises, Paranoid Android, Karma Police) but one by one the songs grew on me, I would just 'get' the songs after I'd heard them enough, and I can safely say it's my favourite album of all time.
After having listened to it many times, my favourite 3 songs off the album are Let Down, Subterranean Homesick Alien and The Tourist, all of which are songs that grew on me.

If you havn't heard much Radiohead before it might be better to start with 'The Bends', then listen to it.
ok computer, alright alright

Is superb :3:
I was gonna say wrong section :v:
It's one of those albums that actually lives up to the hype. Well, it all depends if you like listening to Brit. Rock
It's one of those albums that grow on you. First impression was it was pretty bad and depressing, all disjointed and stuff. But after the 3rd listen I thought it was brilliant.
Yeah, it's pretty depressing. And yes, I did buy it.

UUUUUUUUUuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuggggggggggghhhhhhhHHHHHHHHHHHhhhHHH
I fucking saw all of the radiohead albums at my local record store on saturday, and I could only afford one since I was buying a bunch of other shit for record store day. I bought the Kid A 10" instead of OK Computer, do you think it was worth it?

I'm ok with this thread being bumped.
Subterranean Homesick Alien = FUCKING. AWESOME.
I remember when I first started listening to OK Computer after hearing Karma Police. I went through it from front to back.
And then I did it four more times. I love this album.
[sp]Still think In Rainbows was better (haters gon' hate)[/sp]

I personally prefer Kid A to OK Computer. You should be glad you bought the vinyl version because it's one of the most amazing sounding vinyl's I've ever heard. When those notes start on Everything in it's Right Place... it just blows me away every time.
Wow, this is freaky, I see this thread just as Karma Police comes on the iTunes mix I'm playing :psyboom:

During the past semester I got Kid A and Amnesiac from the record store near my school. There's not much to it with no lyrics and hardly any liner notes, but I liked the packaging for Kid A so much I went back and got Amnesiac. They sit next to each other nicely in your collection. I dislike the fact that the reissue of Amnesiac does not have the title on the front cover. I would have preferred that both pressings did not have the title, but having the reissue be distinctly different like that sucks.
As for OK Computer...I guess I need to listen to it again. I know that people think The Bends is also really good, but it didn't impress me that much even after I had really grown to like the band.
I love all the albums, especially OK Computer. Acutally, I'm not sure which album I like the most, but I guess that's a good thing because then you'd find yourself switching between all their albums, B-sides and singles and I must say; After listening to Radiohead for 9 years (I'm 18), they have affected my way of life and perspective on the world to a point where it's almost painful. And I only know 4 people I can talk about them with; My girlfriend, my leadsinger and my 2 professional music teachers... :frown:
Well, back on-topic: On this album, my probably favorite track would be Electioneering or Airbag.

You'd better lock that in a safe or something, or I'll just come along and "borrow" it... forever :v:
I own it on CD and vinyl, the vinyl artwork is, as seen on those pictures AKz posted, pretty damn sweet.

Get your own copy
But, damn it's probably the most rugged packaging I've seen with lps. Probably thicker than it needed to be, but looks good :3:
I plan on going to best buy to pick up a CD today, but the Wavves CD's are sold out fucking everywhere i swear so I'm going to pick this up
Great album, highly overrated though. I think KID A and In Rainbows are better albums. I think OK Computer is a very single-y album while In Rainbows and KID A seem to flow very nicely and everything seems to be in it's right place (:v:)
