Because everyone wants to rule the world and no one wants to agree on one person. Hell, no one wants to agree to just declare peace and start supporting each other. Because every god damned country is run by morons who are so afraid of peace and so used to conflict that they don't want to change.
A war is a sport to country leaders much like football or hockey. You really think they fight for any purpose? Hell no, it's a game to them. In World War 1 and 2 we fought for freedom, that is a justified cause. It seems that any other war though, is just to show off each others brute force.
I think someone needs to launch a nuke. I don't care who the target is, I really don't. But once that happens it will turn into an all out war and someone will HAVE to come up top or we all die. If we can't live in peace, then we shouldn't live at all. It's sick how we kill our own kind just because some country leaders can't agree with each other.
