Thread music FUCK YEA MOTHERFUCKER http://www.intimidator305.com/ Ok, so have you ever felt like doing 3 things:

listen to american southern rock music
go down a 305 foot drop 85 degrees
black out
Well then come to Kings Dominion and ride the intimidator 305.
The tallest and fastest gravity driven roller coaster on the East Coast screams along 5,100 feet of steel track at 92 MPH! At a whopping 305 feet tall, Intimidator will be the BIGGEST and BADDEST steel roller coaster in the Mid-Atlantic and on the East Coast!
I rode this last weekend (with a hot chick behind me, so it was bonus points for showing some balls of steel) and nearly blacked out. I could see the blackness nearing the center of my eyes but I shook myself awake and the blood came back to my head. (if you start blacking out, try squeezing your leg as hard as possible) It's so tall and high maintainence that they have to use a magnetic pulley to get you to the top instead of a chain. They also have blinking lights at the top so that planes don't crash into it at night Some pictures: http://www.intimidator305.com/public/ride/layout.cfm http://www.intimidator305.com/public/ride/ http://www.intimidator305.com/public/ride/statistics.cfm http://www.intimidator305.com/public/downloads/videos.cfm http://www.intimidator305.com/public/latest/gallery/ I think that the park manager was playing roller coaster tycoon 2 one day and thought "HOLY SHIT THIS IS THE BEST IDEA EVER" I chose the rant Icon because it looked the most EXTREME
I want to ride it
Kings dominion is the shit, it makes this fucking boring state that little bit more fun to live in, rode the intimidator the week it opened up, was sooooo much fn.
I don't get the point of such Roller coasters. They don't give excitement, all they give is a chance to puke yourself from the motion.
What state is this in?
What state is this in?
Virginia
What state is this in?
Good ol' virginia
That's not the tallest and fastest, Kingda Ka is.
Virginia
Ahh, quite a drive for me then. This rollercoaster looks like one BAMF. First rollercoaster I ever went on was the Top Thrill Dragster and it was incredible. Loved rollercoasters ever since. Too bad its a bit of a drive to any park. [editline]01:36PM[/editline]
It's not the tallest and fastest, Kingda Ka is.
I guess this is the tallest and fastest gravity driven rollercoaster. Atleast OP says so, must mean Kingda Ka doesn't use just gravity.

Not as intimidating as the Titan here in Texas - the Intimidator is faster and longer but lacks the same tight turns and helixes as the Titan

I rode this they day it opened, was fucking incredible. Rode it at least once a year ever since

This is more epic, the behemoth: Its canadas largest rollercoaster and i blacked out..
This makes me wish I wasn't poor so I could afford to go to places like this.
Fuck that shit. I'd probably shit myself on the way up
The primary difference I think is that on this coaster, you are pulled to the top and then dropped. On Kingda Ka, they use a hydraulic system to launch you from the base up, and then you fall back down. In a sense they both use gravity, but I think the distinction is that this one has no added force (other than the lift to the top) whereas Kingda Ka you have the added force of the hydraulic launch.
I've been on that coaster- it was the feeling of being scared shitless but enjoying it at the same time. Best combination ever.
Late by a month, thats nothing compared to X2 or Eajanaika 20 ft wide trains and the damn chairs fucking spin
Lol I looked at it and thought ooh rollercoaster tycoon played a part in this too before I saw the bottom of the OP
Why don't we have fucking awesome rollercoasters like this one in France. brb, getting my ticket for US.
I wish my family could go on long haul flights. I wanna go to america.
Interesting. If I ever go back to Virginia to go to Busch Gardens or something I'll stop by this.
