Despite my love for this game I'm still kinda pissed that the combat mod is being released as a separate game
NS2 hasn't had the most successful sales, I can empathize with that, but splitting a semi populated community doesn't seem like the right choice of action
it's developed by a team of modders who made the original mod and are now a game developer, called faultline games. UWE is supporting them by giving them the engine and acting as publishers
I stopped playing because of the god awful load times, loadtimes that spans probably more then 5 mins.. if not then I'm pretty excited to feel up the new content
I could never get into NS2 as much as I was with NS1.

They had performance issues at release but it's all sorted out now. If you have slow load times, it's probably your rig.

On day of release I had load times probably equal to BF4 load times and they are like probably 40 secs long, but after some update I don't even recall what it was, shit got soo slow. But I guess I can reinstall and see if there are changes

Every time there is a new build, the game has to re-cache everything. Because of this, the first time is usually always long, but it should load at a decent speed afterwards.
The only reason I don't play this is because of terrible performance issues I've had since the early beta.
