Saw this bad boy on Youtube last night, looks a lot like Arma3 but on a larger scale. It is releasing in December but only for military and industrial customers. It does say on it's site that an announcement for 'entertainment' purposes is coming shortly. Looks fucken sweet, and there's more footage on their page.
This, is a ghost gun-
O shit its running on Outerra! Wonder if it will have the 1 to 1 scale earth in it so you can have battles anywhere on the planet.
Is that radio chatter from MW2 I hear? Looks really, really pretty, though.
going to go on 10 mile long slogs through the desert ust to get shot in the head and die like in real war [editline]1st December 2016[/editline] i hope i can beach the aircraft carrier
Gun play looks like complete trash (from what limited there was), more like a modern arma 2 with expanded detail than arma 3. Color me hopeful though, at the moment its arma 3 or squad for me, competition is good.

Plane stuff probably has more focus given the scale of things
This really doesn't look that good
It's a competitor to VBS marketed towards militaries and governments, comparing it to Arma is not a good comparison
I do hope that this gets a commercial release because Arma seriously needs the competition.
id rather vbs get a commercial release than ever seeing this come to the light this honestly looks like a worse vbs
Outerra is the same engine that was meant to power the Star Citizen-esque Infinity: The quest for Earth, right?
Outerra is the same engine that was meant to power the Star Citizen-esque Infinity: The quest for Earth, right?
I dont think so. I think Outerra is too new for that
Outerra is the same engine that was meant to power the Star Citizen-esque Infinity: The quest for Earth, right?
uuuh Infinity came out waaay before Star Citizen
uuuh Infinity came out waaay before Star Citizen
It never came out, what you talking about, Announced yeah, but it's been in development for forever now
uuuh Infinity came out waaay before Star Citizen
It was first announced back in like 2006, yeah. My point was that it was kinda supposed to be what SC is now. Though Infinity was even more ambitious iirc
It never came out, what you talking about, Announced yeah, but it's been in development for forever now
He probably means it's been worked on before Outerra was a thing. They're working on something a bit different now: https://inovaestudios.com/Battlescape
It would be amazing to have a competitor to Arma, because they're not even trying anymore.
