While there is no doubt that the Beastie Boys are far superior to MOP... I personally think the first video was better... more vocal synch and less filler cuts and random footage.

The second video's cuts are filler per se, but they are things like Bert hitting the bass drum in time to the song, or baby Elmo playing along with his marching drum. The face that those beats are in time adds a lot to the video. Saying that, however, no amount of drumming along to the song can beat the sequence of Bert and Ernie jumping up and down in time with the "oh! oh! oh!" on the MOP track.
