Makes you sad, hungover, generally confused (and not in a fun way). mega clumsy, feel sick, headache, makes you do stupid things. The list goes on. Some times I wonder why it's legal, considering other things are so much better and less harmful.
Seriously, what's the point. There's cheaper, faster, better and even safer ways to get off your face. So why do people bother with booze. It's just shit.

practise more and don't feel sick. or start drinking different things. i don't usually feel sick, unless drinking too much beer, but that's infrequent at best.

comments about the fact it shouldn't be made illegal, things being better is subjective, shut up etc, can be added by other people.
I used to drink loads (atleast three times a week) when I was 16/17, but then I basically stopped for the best part of a year.
My 'drinking stamina' is not what is used to be, I have a few beers now and start to feel sick.
I'm not saying it should be made illegal, I'm just shocked that alcohol is and other things aren't.
I guess I'm just ranting because I'm drunk right now and came back home early because I got pissed off and didn't want to cause a fuss. But seriously, it's just shit.
Last night I tried my mates 67% rum from some obscure part of Jamaica.
Never again.

That's not to say I don't drink now, I really do enjoy sinking a couple of pints down the pub.
But I can't do the whole getting slaughtered every week anymore.
On the other hand, I do kinda miss those times. They were more innocent, we just used to drink all the time; lunch breaks at school, every wednesday at the cinema (orange wednesdays), every thursday (weather permitting) we'd have a barbecue down the park. It doesn't sound so innocent, but I may be just wearing my rose spectacles.
It was fun, but to think I'd happily drink a bottle of lambrini in about half an hour then go to lessons kinda makes me feel a bit sick.

I tend not to get drunk any more. It's too expensive and it's really not a pleasant experience.
I can't understand why people don't just switch to other drugs. And I always end up getting angry stares from my non-stoner friends when I bring this topic up.

I never go for Tesco brand alcohol, or any type of supermarket alcohol anyway. Always like the known brands.

I'm really bad for this, when I drink I need a piss maybe every 20 minutes or some shit.
The worst thing ever is when you really need a piss but are too busy vomiting your guts out to go for it.

Yeah I agree, I'm drunk now and it just makes me depressive and dangerous. Granted it's better for my long term health than the other routes I take but I dunno
I usually drink water in between alcohol when I'm drinking, haven't felt sick whilst I've been doing that and any hangovers are gone after a big glass of oj and a good breakfast.
I do agree though, I'd rather smoke weed or do other drugs, but if I'm at a party where everyone is drinking, socialising and having a laugh I hate being that guy who is sat in the corner with a couple of mates tripping balls.
It makes for good stories though, the craziest shit happens in my group when we're drunk.

The bad effects definitely outweigh the good. But you have to admit that it's fun in certain atmospheres.

Getting drunk and getting stoned aren't really comparable to one another.
With some good friends I would definitely rather smoke and chill, but I wouldn't want to go to a party and insist that I am not going to drink because I would rather just get high.
Imagine going to a house party where everybody just blazed.
The party part would be lacking.
I like alcohol just for casual drinking. Just a glass of wine, some fruity island drink, or one drink of something with vodka. Beer tastes like a shitty carbonated water.
Not really a drug of choice for me.
as long as you aren't stupid with alcohol, it is great for social gatherings.
