Hello, I have questions for those who have taken shrooms,
I had my first experience with shrooms not long ago, 2 grams.
The peak was intense - very calming, sedating , relaxing, peaceful, serene. I sat down and took it all in. It was beautiful. A wonderful feeling. A natural feeling, too. I felt very connected to my environment. It was very visual, lots of morphing, distorting.
Interestingly, although I felt Psilocin, pure Psilocin alone is very different to mushrooms. Shrooms to me can be even more abstract, and in visuals appear more natural, instead of alien. Everything looks disorganized, rather than simply distorted. Head space is a bit more confusing to me, I find 4-AcO-DMT and LSD to be very predictable.
Now, it was all good up to an hour after peak. I started feeling faint. I had to drink quite a bit of water and felt sharp pains in my extremities (ie feet, hand) and the sensation that I was about to pass out.
Doing deep breathing temporarily solved some of the faintness to some extent.
This persisted for another 2-3 hours. It detracted from my experience in ways but I still had a very positive experience.
Very mystical in general.
I suppose mushrooms just don't agree with me, or this specific batch, I don't know. But it was worth trying them anyway.

I would like to know if anyone has had a similar experience and knows what helps. [/B]
Peace!
i always get sharp pains in my leg/upper thigh when doing psychedelics, every time
My thighs always ache after peaking on a psychedelic. But never low blood pressure or fainting.
agree with those two completely. sometimes i'll get lightheaded, faint, etc. and from time to time, especially if i've been smoking a lot of cigarettes, i'll get a lot of leg cramping. i think weed is a vasilodator? that could help. i might be completely wrong

make sure you eat a good healthy meal before doing any drug, but specifically in this case because it can help a lot
iirc it's due to the vasoconstriction of the psilocybin and psilocin, this is a common feature among psychedelics and can cause these effects.
I've never had an issue with 4-AcO-DMT, or LSD.
If 20mg is similar to 2g of shrooms, then even at 100mg of 4-AcO-DMT I had no physical pain or difficulty. I've never experienced this on any psychedelic substance, aside from 4-AcO-MET, which is known to be a potent vasoconstrictor.
I imagine it is a response to another specific alkaloid, but I don't think it's psilocin on its own. It could even be a strange reaction to the shroom material itself.. I really don't know.
LSA (12 HBWR seeds, orally) made me feel like I would need to amputate my arms and legs

I took two and the body load was not terribly noticeable, but I found it to be quite strong. I can't imagine taking 12 though. The sedation, and body load..
Interestingly my friend took 10 and felt no effects. Drugs are strange like that

The most I ever took was 13, and it was hell. I'll never eat those damn seeds again. I remember the vasoconstriction being unbearably bad.

Yeah man, I remember after my experience with 12 i gave most of the rest away. i had like 40 left
I learned a very valuable lesson that day.

Same, I remember posting on FP curled up into the fetal position at 5am because I was sure I was either dying or needed to be transported to the hospital
I remember thinking that I was trapped in that world and that I needed to kill myself to wake up.
I've had muscle cramping bad from mushrooms, couldn't walk at all.
That shit sucked.

Maybe there is something to be learned from it

I think I know what he means. I play guitar often, and while tripping sometimes ill find my fretting hand hurts noticeably. It may be more apparent because of vasoconstriction but there could be a deeper meaning, ie that you should stretch more often.
