Bruce Willis in: generic action movie 2009. Though the trailers look pretty good, I'm considering seeing it. Just I have no idea if it's actually gonna be good.

Bruce Willis is a fucking bad ass. Of course I'm going to see this movie.

I'm anxious to see how the explain the whole thing about these surrogates probably costing millions of dollars each because of how complex they are. Although they probably won't explain it because this is a Bruce Willis movie.

It may sound picky, but the movie is called "Surrogate not "The Surrogates". Adding a the changes things, it sounds like a small specific group called "The Surrogates". I hate it when people do this for Watchmen.

There are many people who hate it when a new technology or something similar isn't thoroughly explained, but I really don't care. I think SF is a sort of theoretical philosophy, the writer asks "What if...?" to make the reader think about classical questions of philosophy like "What makes a human human?", or bring up moralic or political issues of our present time. Anyway, I'm sure this movie will just be about Bruce Willis jumping and shooting, and won't even touch the deeper thoughts underlying the narrative. Like Matrix. Might still be fun. Like Matrix.

It reminds me of that one short story where that man breaks his robot body and goes to fight other people in robot bodies in an area. It was so cool man.

This reminded me about The Matrix so much, people plugged into computers, virtual world, you die in that world you die in real life, all seems like the Matrix to me.

There is no "the" in Surrogates.
