[B]GBL, a Chinese bitcoin trading platform that claimed to be based in Hong Kong, recently shut down – an event that might not be worthy of note had ¥25m ($4.1m) worth of users’ money not disappeared with it. No other are controlling nor protecting them. The moment you hand them over to a stranger without immidiatly getting anything in return, they might as well be gone.

Are there any reputable escrow services for Bitcoin?
Yes, trust a Chinese software firm with your bitcoins, that's sure to end well. Should have trusted a guy that lives in a flat.
Somebody's probably going to jail for this, but the crooks might get away with it most likely.
There seems to be quite a lot of news on Bitcoins recently, what's happening?

Is this even illegal?
