The Ukrainian military says it is battling rebel armoured vehicles that crossed from Russia and headed to the south-eastern city of Mariupol. It said the column was halted near the town of Novoazovsk. One military commander said pro-Russian rebels might be trying to open up a new southern front. Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said he not heard the reports but complained of regular "disinformation about our 'incursions'". He also said Russia planned to send another humanitarian convoy into eastern Ukraine "in the next few days" as the humanitarian situation there was "deteriorating". [...] Ukrainian sources said the armoured vehicles had crossed the border bearing symbols of the self-styled Donetsk People's Republic. Officials said 10 tanks and two armoured personnel carriers were in the column although other reports said the number of vehicles was as high as 30. Mariupol, a major port on the Azov Sea, is in the hands of Ukrainian government forces, who ousted rebels from the city in June after weeks of fighting. A Ukrainian military spokesman said government forces still controlled Mariupol and the road to Novoazovsk. Spokesman Andriy Lysenko said it was an attempt "by the Russian military in the guise of Donbass fighters (rebels) to open a new area of military confrontation". The scene of most of the fighting has been much further north.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-28924945 Those rebels are getting quite brazen if they're attacking new parts of Ukraine from Russia.
Is it bad that the only thing I noticed was that cat? :v: Ontopic: These rebels need to fuck off, and so does Russia with it's "oh we're doing nothing, nothing to see here" as tanks and vehicles roll to East Ukraine.

I had to meticulously scan to find the cat. Waldo tier camouflage.
I guess the column is just headed towards Crimea. If you don't know Mariupol is fairly close to Crimea. Not to mention the trucks are just heading south and "they are going to Mariupol" is just an idea of some Ukrainian official, not proved by anything yet. Also some google search shows people post that picture as "pro-russian separatist holds a kitten".

damn russia must be some shithole if armed rebel vigilanties can just drive in and out of it with tanks on a daily basis, they must have a very shit army for not being able to do anything about this, i mean that is the only explanation right? after all russia has denied arming, fueling, and training the rebels [editline]25th August 2014[/editline] i mean if that was the U.S. military there wouldn't be anybody driving around with tanks in our country
Didn't part of the Ukrainian army defect to the rebel side, along with their equipment?
thought they were forced across the border, not bravely defected according to RT more on topic, when are people going to start acknowledging that russia is pulling all this shit and everyone knows what's going on except the russian patriots e.g. occupying crimea, supplying personnel, weapons, trucks and tanks to the rebels, sending russian military officers to lead or support rebel groups, sending convoys of APCs across the border, sending empty "aid trucks" in to steal manufacturing equipment and refusing to let them be inspected but all they have to say is "no we didnt lol" and we just go "oh that putin what a character" and they continue sending tanks across the border and going "HEY LOOK THE SITUATION IN UKRAINE IS DETERIORATING" and banging the drum until no one cares when they eventually heroically invade ukraine to save it from the humanitarian crisis that they caused in the first place literally everyone outside of russia knows this but no western leader is willing to challenge the endless refrain of "but we didnt do anything"

I still don't understand what Russia has to gain from helping the rebels? Ukraine is annihilating them at every corner and Russia keeps giving them more, the more doomed they get. The more Russia give to them the more obvious their involvement is, the move obvious their involvement the more sanctions from the west. The more sanctions from the west, the weaker Russia becomes.
why do you have always this attitude whenever you post in a thread? more so; what does acting this way solve
its just personally funny that certain posters felt the need to pick upon something completely unrelated and asinine. What does that picture being of a rebel change? And why does the pro-russian bloc feel the need to waste so much threadspace talking about it.

I told you before that it's not conviencing me as our sources say the exact opposite of what your sources say and I choose to believe neither. The truth will be revealed later. As of now please stop posting cool infographics and pictures. The fact that we discussed the same exact thing in another thread and you act the exact same way while knowing that your post doesn't bring any new info conviences me that you just post that to gather some "Agree" ratings. I think it's a bad attitude.
