old thread got closed. anywho, cat went missing about 5 days ago. he never usually goes out for such time periods and is usually back home in 1-4 hours. Went from worried, to sad, to meh. My cat has been missing for about a month now. Advertised on the internet, put posters up on lamp posts, leaflets, etc. We got a bunch of calls of spottings, we even saw him about 3 times, but each time he just ran. One lady even thought she had caught him (and locked him inside her kitchen) - turned out to be a stray. He was almost an identical clone of my cat, although his face was slightly fatter and his tail was too thin. Haven't had a suspected sighting in about a week now, since the stray cat was neutered/rehomed. We had just moved to a new house about 10 miles away. My mum let him outside after a week. Hopefully he's still in the neighbourhood.. Good luck OP. Hope you find him/her.

No, I never have. I loved the cat since he was born. I've always treated him right, and he was always pretty content/happy. He had a good life. :( I'm thinking he wandered off into the developments not to far from where I live, and fell into one of the un-finished basements. They drop like 8 or 9 ft. D:

Cats can survive a fall eight or nine feet. Check in those basements to see if verynicelady is living down there, and then eat her torso to get inside her stomach to find your cat. Hurry, before she poops!

Go check them out, he could be down there.

Don't lose hope. My skiddish indoor cat was gone for 6 weeks. Ironically, we found her at the Humane Society when we were looking for a new cat.

My cat went missing in October 2009, I cried for 3 days straight. As I haven't seen him myself since January of 2009. (I don't live with my parents as they live 2000k's away.)
