People who sneeze on the equipment and don't clean that shit Obligatory Curling in squat rack.
curling with their lower backs. [editline]6th August 2011[/editline] 1/4 squats [editline]6th August 2011[/editline] 1/2 bench [editline]6th August 2011[/editline] horrible form in general
when you put your weights on the benchpress, get a drink or someshit, you get back and some fucktard has changed them
Imaginary Lat Syndrome people who sneer and growl while they are lifting like they are badasses or something. It's really corny please stop.
flexing in the mirror in front of the dumbbells shrugs in the squat rack people staring at you while you work out
When people put the biggest weight they can then do three reps ignoring technique and then smash the weights down as hard as they can to impress everyone.
Those people who walk fully naked in the locker rooms. With 20 other guys in there.
creepy as fuc (mostly scrawny) guys in the gym that always stare at you when you lift.
Those people who walk fully naked in the locker rooms. With 20 other guys in there.
And they don't even do things that they have to be naked for, I always see these guys washing their hands, talking on the cellphone, etc. :pwn:
There's an oddball who comes to my gym, he's old (like 48) and wears the shortest shorts and when he walks around, he strides like he's doing lunges or something. He's really arrogant, he once barged into my friend whilst leaving the changing room, my friend says 'sorry' and he goes 'WELL YOU SHOULD BE' and storms off. As for his workouts, he's paid for personal training for about 6 months and still appears to be doing the same weight as he did when he started, and he often cracks jokes to the PT about how awesome he is compared to everyone else.
creepy as fuc (mostly scrawny) guys in the gym that always stare at you when you lift.
Sounds like they're only trying to see how to do things correctly by watching experienced people
yes but standing 1 meter from me and staring at my face while i'm doing skullcrushes is kinda creepy, no?
People who leave weights lying around.
I dont mind people with bad technique, but please don't videotape it when I'm in the background.
People who are sweating profusely and refuse to wipe down the station they were using.
Imaginary Lat Syndrome people who sneer and growl while they are lifting like they are badasses or something. It's really corny please stop.
i accidentally make faces and noises when im workin out, but thats just me trying to remember to breathe
i accidentally make faces and noises when im workin out, but thats just me trying to remember to breathe
I grunt if the weight is heavy and I'm really struggling. It makes it easier. :smith: Who the keeps a constant poker face?
I grunt like a mad cunt when I squat.
I hate when people have been lifting for 4 months and think they're experts on working out.
when girls keep giving you weightlifting advice you already know "Do you know you're supposed to get full range of motion" "Do you know bench pressing works triceps too" "Do you know you can do abs every day"
but it's cool when guys do it?
I don't really care about what other people do in the gym, rather mind my own business. You shouldn't "hate" on people with wrong techniques/form, you've probably been there.
when girls keep giving you weightlifting advice you already know "Do you know you're supposed to get full range of motion" "Do you know bench pressing works triceps too" "Do you know you can do abs every day"
haha loser girls have cooties!!!
I hate it whenever I first walk into the weight room every guy stops their workout a couple of seconds and sizes me up. Happens to my friends too.
Are you trying to impress us Mr. Jay cutler?
People who don't do full reps on the Bench Press.
When people try to "correct" you on stuff when you're really just doing it a different way on purpose. For example, idiots coming up to me saying I'm doing bench press wrong when I'm doing it close-grip. Or self proclaimed martial arts masters who try to tell me I'm kicking wrong when I'm really just kicking using a different style. A guy came up to me one day while I was Thai kicking a heavy bag and tried to tell me I was kicking wrong (he thought I should be doing TKD style kicks). I simply said "Thanks for the advice but I kinda know what I'm doing." Ran into him a week later and he pretty much wanted to fight me for being disrespectful or something stupid like that. I just laughed.
People who give unsolicited advice. And weird people that see me about to deadlift 300 (current max) and run over saying "NO NO NO THAT'S TOO HEAVY". Just because your weakass can't DL a lightweight 300 pounds doesn't mean I can't.
creepy as fuc (mostly scrawny) guys in the gym that always stare at you when you lift.
I do that, but I do it from some ways away and try not to be obvious. I'm just trying to see how more experienced guys do it to see if my form's correct.
