Seeing Times Square so barren is just... eerie. Irene's definitely taking a toll on the coast states.
yeah its pretty freaky, kind of like the end of the world feel. but why didn't they turn off those billboards n signs?

Irene's definitely taking a toll on the coast states.[/QUOTE] Not really, My friends in the carolinas and along the coasts that were suposed to get hit, said their power didnt even go out, and said that they had seen worse storms in the past, that weren't even hurricanes. Irene was just an overhyped hurricane, that caused minimal flood damage.
That more then what i excepted.
I kinda wanted to see what happened if an actually bad hurricane hit. But they do kinda have it coming for building that close to water, yeah, I know it's an old city. But still. You can't stop the inevitable.
