Well for a while know I've been using my old camera, which is a semi good compact digital camera, but it's not as good as i'd want it to be. So i think it's time i should upgrade.
All i need is a nice camera, with the possibility of interchangeable lenses. i don't want it to be stupidly small, or large. It needs to be a digital SLR, and has to have a good photo sensor. I'd prefer not spending over £250.

As probably expected, my recommendation for your price range would probably be something like the Nikon D3000. Not sure if I'm anywhere near right with my currency translation, though.
Ask around, and try out different makes and models if you can. It sometimes comes down to what [i]feels[/i] right in your hands.
