Request a style or theme, be specific don't be "Gimme SCI-FI" because that's a very broad thing. Gimme a thriller/drama, but doesn't have to be too violant or bloody but makes you think a lot. I would like it to be quite modern, 90s-esque. Although I do love 70s thrillers to death. I want some 90s greatness. Thanks.
Gimme movies
Gimme movies
Watch City Lights, Brazil, Full Metal Jacket, Rumble Fish and Curious Case of Benjamin Button.
After Dark, My Sweet http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0098994/ The ultimate 1990s neo-noir thriller.
Romance films that are similar to Punch-Drunk Love?
Romance films that are similar to Punch-Drunk Love?
I'm not sure about the movie you said, but Annie Hall is an awesome example of romantic, comedy drama.
Yeah, I've seen that one already though. The character played by Christopher Walken is hilarious.
Rugby related movies? Besides Invictus.
Needs more content. After seeing Sunshine, Moon, Inception, Minority Report, Tron: Legacy, Avatar, Star Trek, District 9, Children of Men, Watchmen, Serenity, Equilibrium, etc I feel I've watched most of the decent films sci-fi has to offer. What can you recommend? Obviously I've watched all the old classics, Blade Runner, Star Wars, Donnie Darko, A Clockwork Orange, BTTF, The Fifth Element, The Thing, 2001, Tron, Gattaca, Contact, Predator, Alien (all of em), Dune, Close Encounters etc Edit Oh and if you're looking for sci-fi then I can recommend all of these movies I listed!
You should watch the psychological science-fiction film Solaris then, which is another classic. But, watch the 1972 version and not the remake. The remake is terrible compared to the original.

It was made in 1997, but there was an American remake in 2007 or so. Also, it's funny to see someone above me mentioned Solaris as at the end of Funny Games the main characters are discussing Solaris.
The Game
Can I get any funny 80's romantic comedies like Fish called Wanda?

These you'll like because they're stylistic as fuck.

Who hasn't seen memento? And Pi by the director of Requiem of a Dream is more effed that that.

A Crime/Thriller/Drama It makes you think, and (in my opinion) has the best ending i've ever seen to any movie. [editline]9th June 2011[/editline] Also can anyone suggest any heist movies. I like the more modern day ones though. Oceans 11 was amazing. I also liked the remake of the Italian Job. So any suggestions?

Give me an adventurous steampunk-styled movie. Wether its animated or filmed doesnt matter.
Give me an adventurous steampunk-styled movie. Wether its animated or filmed doesnt matter.
Apparently The Prestige is "steampunk" so watch that.
That Sherlock Holmes movie with Robert Downey Jr. was very steampunk-ish.
So would something like "Modern Times" and "Metropolis" be Steam Punk?
So would something like "Modern Times" and "Metropolis" be Steam Punk?
I haven't seen either fully, but I don't really think Modern Times (if you're referring to the Chaplin flick) is very steampunk. [editline]9th June 2011[/editline] Also, I wouldn't call The Prestige adventurous.
Why for the first statement. Why for the second.
Well, from what I have seen (not much), Modern Times is just industrialized, not steampunk. And to the second, I don't see whats adventurous in it. They don't really adventure anywhere, except for the part about [sp]Tesla's invention[/sp].

About Prestige, that's the whole idea. It's an adventurous, industrialised piece. I think the biggest thrill was to be found with the David Bowie part.

And its just my opinion, but I didn't find anything adventurous about The Prestige.
