I live in Winnipeg and I don't think I've heard of Morris before, but Manitoba's not the best province. Winnipeg has had the highest murder rate in Canada for the longest time but I think it might be someone else currently, and I believe I read a study awhile ago that said Manitoba is one of the most religious provinces with some of the oldest residents. It's also shitty in the winter here but that's most of Canada.

There's a large Mennonite population in southern Manitoba and they're kinda like if the Amish accepted modern technology but wanted to impose their social views on everyone else

The mail's sender address seems to have forged, at least the domain doesn't exist. Not that this isn't what she saw in her email client, mail meta data is really easy to manipulate when sending through shady service providers. Can't believe how willing everyone is to accept that everyone in the town is like this. Manitoba is full of religious conservatives, but most of them are nice people that would at least keep their thoughts to themselves. Don't live in Morris, but I imagine its probably a large minority of the population that is doing these things openly.

Someone needs to sort this town the fuck out, even though I don't think running the gays out of town was acceptable either I can see why religious extremism would lead to that, but this is just downright fucking racist bigotry, it simply can't be explained.
