Oh my god
It's like one of those GTA mods that removes road traction.
2000 had a few good parts but the original is the real stuff.
What the hell were the cops thinking in that movie.
2000 had a few good parts but the original is the real stuff.
PSA: In case you are going to watch the movie i suggest you don't watch these clips I watched it yesterday, so many great and confusing moments and the soundtrack is superb
There is a TV show in Germany called "Alarm for Cobra 11" which is set on the german autobahn. If you love car pileups, you should check it out by chance. There was a car pileup in the episode "Höllenfahrt auf der A4" and it was huge and ridicilous to watch. This is sadly the ONLY link I have found: https://ok.ru/video/29881010907 The carnage starts at 04:08 The episode is very old and the show is STILL running, every episode starts with a huge pileup, they always wreck +30 cars in each episode. It's a shame that barely anything is uploaded online. It's insanely popular in japan, you can watch a lot of cool scenes on nicovideo.

Jesus fucking Christ were the openings made out of utter fucking carnage. The show makes the Autobahn look like a trail of death laden with the most reckless drivers, and the Cobra 11 officers aren't hesitant to pretty much murder the fuck out of the suspects, either. You can see a chunk of RTL's sub of the show in all its 480p glory and the best intro theme ever here. Note that most title cards are explosions.
The original Blues Brothers is some of the best shit I've ever watched. Pretty sure GTA took heavy inspiration from it. It almost feels like a movie version of it, except with more singing. It's basically an action crime series where every episode follows more or less the same format where they crash a bunch of cars on a highway, then do some investigation, a bunch of action sequences with shooting and explosions and stuff, then a huge car chase with tons of wrecks. Every. Single. Episode. I wonder where they get the money for all the cars, they must have wrecked tens of thousands of them.

Nothing about this makes sense. I love it.
The whole film is about that they're on a mission from god to pay taxes. The film is fucking brilliant
The whole film is about that they're on a mission from god to pay taxes. "Yeah its about two brothers who gotta get 5 thousand dollars to save a orphanage and they do this through playing music together with the band.. Oh yeah it also has Nazi's, car chases, explosions, Carrie Fisher, tanks, lots of swearing and they destroy an entire mall"
What the hell were the cops thinking in that movie.
Cop 1: "Why are there so many of our own cars piling up at the horizon?" Cop 2: "They are merging into a super transformer. Hit the gas, we don't want to be late!"
directed by max landis
i would trust him over paul feig
directed by max landis
To be fair, his dad did direct the original Blues Brothers. Not that that makes him qualified, he's still shit.
Don't forget the chick who destroyed a downtown apartment building with a rocket launcher.
that was carrie fisher. Leia Organa is out for blood and I can't even remember if they explained why she was out to get them (not that it matters)
that was carrie fisher. Leia Organa is out for blood and I can't even remember if they explained why she was out to get them (not that it matters)
She was supposed to get married to jake, who bailed on the day of the wedding.
Previous record holder: Blues Brothers
:v:
I first watched this movie when someone just put it on and I knew literally nothing about it, didn't even know the name. The way it just slowly and sort-of-subtly gets crazier and crazier was so amazing for watching it that way since I never expected it to get so ridiculous. That fucking backflip, man.
The Blues Brothers is a fucking trip of a film. It's an actually perfect example of escalation to ridiculous levels and I love it for it. It starts of so calm and collected. Even the musical numbers dotted throughout it escalate in scale and absurdity. Honestly, even if you don't like musicals, watch this film. It's as much of a real musical as Mad Max is about Max himself.

I thought I was having a stroke when they started speaking Italian out of no where.
