I need a web host which will allow installed perl modules and which has unlimited space/bw under $10 a month. I need either a linux version with subversion (SVN) or a windows server with subversion also installed. I plan on using php's shell_exec() and exec()
Why do you need unlimited space and "DATA TRANSFER"? You'll never use enough to do so. Also, I'll go with the flow and recommend Brohoster. They seem to be the thing in and around Facepunch,
Yeah, I'd definitely go with brohoster.
I doubt you need unlimited space and bandwidth, and I don't think I know any hosts which allow access to exec().
I use dyndns, it is rather affordable.
I'm making a newer more advanced version of glua.net I need unlimited. Trust me.
We'll generally recommenced Brohoster, however what exactly are you planning on with unlimited bandwidth and exec() access? [editline]yeah[/editline] Beaten with answer.

If you plan on becoming a mirror or file hoster of sorts, then $10 isn't going to cover what you need.

You've got a lot of work to do before you need that unlimited space and data transfer. I'd work on your site first, and then worry about the logistics.

I'm going to start testing it on my computer soon though. EDIT: Credits will be given to the addon creators and links will be given to their websites/forums.
Good luck getting a host allowing exec(), why do you need it anyway? For that kinda stuff you'll need a VPS. However, if shared does fit, go brohoster for sure :)

Thanks for telling me about brohoster. :v: I've been looking for a cheap host.

It's my own equipment, I know, but still it's cheaper than Brohoster not including the server machine itself. If you just want hosting without owned a physical server, go with brohoster.

I'll need around 4 - 8TB Bandwidth and around 2TB space.

With a community of that size, I can see you doing 8TB of data transfer in the near future, perhaps next month?
With a community of that size, I can see you doing 8TB of data transfer in the near future, perhaps next month?
ahahahahaha... Nah Its not the community that will be doingthe bandwidth. I'm making a few php scripts with some .sh and .bat which will download updated or old versions of wiremod phx, etc and will zip it up for users to download. Also they will be able to download old revisions such as 1111 and it will email them when the download is complete. The download will only happen per time request (per 12 hours)
