Every since Stargate SG-1 this has been my favourite PDW.
That joint operations P90 looks awesome.
The Vegas games and CoD4 remastered are the only ones that bothered animating the bullets inside the transparent mag, hah I think they tried to do that for Siege, realized they couldn't/it was too much work, and the magazine has duct tape or shrink wrap crudely wrapped around it Also of note, Battlefield 2 and the older CS games missing the fact P90s eject cases straight downward rather than to a side.

[editline]9th October 2017[/editline] Ok thats weird, PD2 in the video doesn't have it. I could have sworn it did.
Reminds me of how bothered I used to get by how CS:S had all its guns mirrored so the ejection ports were on the wrong side, and how you charged the M4 with the forward assist instead of the bolt.
IIRC the modeller was left handed, and made the weapons left handed, and then they just flipped them to the right.
Reminds me of how bothered I used to get by how CS:S had all its guns mirrored so the ejection ports were on the wrong side, and how you charged the M4 with the forward assist instead of the bolt.
That's because you're meant to play with cl_righthand 0. All the guns were animated left handed in CS; and I think before 1.1 or 1.2 cl_righthand 0 was set by default so they were properly mirrored. That was carried over into CSS. [editline]9th October 2017[/editline]
IIRC the modeller was left handed, and made the weapons left handed, and then they just flipped them to the right.
They were modeled left handed for CSS because they were left handed in 1.6. That's the only reason. CSS was originally supposed to be an exact (or as close as possible) replica of 1.6. I'm guessing they decided to completely change everything AFTER they had all the assets finished.
The sounds in Ghost Recon Wildlands are on point.
What bothers me in most of these is how large the weapon apperas in the field of view, as if it's being held with outstretched arms In reality the gun is so short that you'd usually only see the muzzle brake in your peripheral vision unless you're holding it right up to your face.
IIRC the modeller was left handed, and made the weapons left handed, and then they just flipped them to the right.
I feel like my irritation was justified then, I mean if the original viewmodels were left handed why not put in the effort to flip the guns rather than just mirror the viewmodel? That's kinda just lazy considering the guns are essentially the star of the game.

Reminder that the CSS M4 flaps the dust cover when cases eject, and the reload animation pulls the fucking forward assist, never touching the charging handle
The P90 is one of my favorite guns in games. There's just something about the way it looks and fires that I really like.

I don't really see why you'd bother, CS isn't about ultra realistic gun mechanics, it's about gameplay. [editline]10th October 2017[/editline]
These videos are always a treat. It's nice to see how games decide to implement a gun in visual and audio terms, but also in terms of balance. In CS 1.6 during the short time I used the P90 it was almost impossible to hit anything but in CS:GO it is/was a death machine.
It's terrible in CSGO too. For anti-eco's its less effective and more expensive than buying an UMP/Mac10/MP9 with nades whilst also giving less kill reward. There's no reason to get it on a buy round either because it's straight up inferior to a rifle.
Sorry guys but this is the most OG P90 vid out there and I have to share it here I fell in love with it since 007 on the ps1 when I was like 8 or something, then on to Far Cry and the Instincts titles, BF2 and finally CS and COD. <3 Forever coolest PDW with the meanest ammo. [t]https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/b/bf/57lineup.jpg/220px-57lineup.jpg[/t] 5.7×28

hi iths so good lets see https://www.simayeshahr.com/
Yeah and those 5.7 rounds are expensive as fuck compared to other calibers, too About $20 for 50, as opposed to say 200 of 9mm for about $25 Skip the P90, go with an MP5K. For when you need to kill bad guys on a budget
But then you're missing the cool factor
Did somebody say P90? VOLUME WARNING!@#!@#%T$%^&89

Far Cry one sounds like it should be an Anti-Air minigun
[thumb]https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/e/e5/PP-19_Bizon_right_view.jpg[/thumb] it'll never top this bad boy right here tho. This ones also a little cheaper to fire as well iirc. [sp]although nothing will top the mp5 for me as far as smgs go[/sp]
