Good day everyone, I present to you my first album:

The music was recorded on the 6th and 7th of May, with only a guitar and a bass-guitar to create the sounds you are about to hear.
I (Dick Tracy) have played all the guitar parts, a friend of mine recorded his bass-guitar and I then later mixed it.
The music could be classified as psychadelic instrumental rock, I'm not good with words though and I think the music itself should speak for what it's worth.

Yes, you can click the link to go to the bandcamp where everything is uploaded.
Did I say it's for free?
Enjoy, and if you like/dislike it please tell me, these are my first four songs and I would very much like to know what's good and what can be improved upon.
Thank you for your time.
Sorry for bump, I made it in Music forum but I later realized that it's the musicians gig room that should be the proper forum for this kind of stuff. =)
The premise was interesting at first but got really repetitive once I noticed that all of the songs shared the same effects. I also noticed your rhythm slipped up quite a bit here and there. I think you need some more practice, but don't be discouraged, I'm in no way calling this bad.
My advice would be to experiment with more sounds and create additional interesting melodies to match them. Try to play to a metronome to keep in synch with the beat/tempo.
Good luck, I'm interested to hear how you evolve your sound.
Thats a pretty cool album cover

Thanks for taking the time to listen, yes I wanted to keep it all within the same 'theme' so I used a lot of effects over and over. That's a pretty lazy excuse though, for future tracks I will definiety work on using more various effects to keep it more interesting.
Melodies is something I've been trying to come up with but just can't get it right, I do play with a metronome because I'm not confident in my own rhythm, not yet at least.
It's ok to use some similar effects, but instead of using the complete same, tweak them. For new songs, I'll use synths I already built and saved, but tweak them to match the atmosphere or sound I desire.
It's fun to experiment, see what else you can come up with. Evolve in your sound, you can only get better.
Some good advice, thank you for your inspiring words. =)
-dumb shit-
I'm bumping this for great justice because...
