• Seth MacFarlane made insulting jokes during the oscar - Jews, feminists and antiracists furious
The Family Guy creator set the tone of the show with a song and dance number called “We’ve seen your boobs”, where he listed the actresses (many of whom were present) who had gone topless in films- including Meryl Streep, Kate Winslet, Anne Hathaway and Charlize Theron. His jokes then went on to touch on race, sexism, Jews, domestic violence and the Lincoln assassination. He likened the violence in Django Unchained to “a Chris Brown & Rihanna date movie”; pretended to confuse Denzel Washington with Eddie Murphy and proclaimed nine-year-old Quvenzhané Wallis still had 16 years to go before she was “too old” for George Clooney. He then mocked the Jewish presence in Hollywood by bringing out his Ted puppet who said: “I was born Theodore Shapiro and I would like to donate money to Israel and continue to work in Hollywood forever.”
http://www.independent.co.uk/arts-entertainment/films/news/was-oscar-host-seth-macfarlane-funny-or-inappropriate-8510528.html Seth MacFarlane for the president
Good.
This reminds me of a time....
"Geez Lois, this is worse than the time I hosted the Oscars." Edit: "This is just like getting ninja posted on Facepunch."
To be honest, i'd consider it more newsworthy if he went through several jokes without offending anyone. i don't like it in the least but it's his style of humor, they let him make three TV shows so somebody must be enjoying it.
A bit juvenile maybe, but what the fuck were they expecting when they invited Seth MacFarlane?
His jokes then went on to touch on race, sexism, Jews, domestic violence and the Lincoln assassination.
Hang him.
He was almost as good as Rickey Gervais.
Hang him.
I find his jokes hilarious.
So he tried to be Ricky Gervais at the Golden Globes but with less class.
His jokes then went on to touch on race, sexism, Jews, domestic violence and the Lincoln assassination.
So that's like any other comedians act except for Seinfeld.
Have they ever watched Family Guy? At least Seth was mostly toned down. In fact, the worst of his jokes were under his Ted persona.
-snip, I admit it, I skimmed the article; sorry-
and proclaimed nine-year-old Quvenzhané Wallis still had 16 years to go before she was “too old” for George Clooney.
Classy.
Seth does NOT run family guy anymore he just does voices so can we just stop with the family guy jokes now. I thought Seth was funny. Hes a talented guy.
Didn't he also make a song about all the actresses whose tits we saw
First sentence in the thread, you should really read past the title. I love Seth, not necessarily for his tv shows but he is an amazingly talented singer. I have his album.
Hang him.
after getting a bad response from the joke he said "wow, 150 years and it's still too soon"
I thought it was funny when he said "This next person needs no introduction." then he walks off.
Just gonna leave this here.
He's actually a fairly funny guy when he's not bound to something like Family Guy, which even he says should have ended years ago. And you have to be aware that he is going to be offensive to literally everyone.
I don't really mind offensive jokes. I just can't stand it when some people do it.
Just gonna leave this here.
I mean, it's not like continually making racist, sexist and homophobic jokes actually hurt people in very real ways. Oh wait, it totally does. [editline]25th February 2013[/editline] And if that wasn't enough, you're a really fucking shitty comedian if all you can come up with is old stereotypes.
Nevermind, got him confused with some other wanker.

Wow, what a horrible person.
I find his jokes hilarious.
Outside his TV shows, he's pretty funny. Hell, I nearly pissed myself during Ted.
Just gonna leave this here.
this quote is always taken out of context (usually by shit talking idiots who think it's hilarious to make bigoted jokes). he was talking about respecting bigoted beliefs, in this case catholics being "offended" by marriage equality
Just gonna leave this here.
cool
Wow, what a horrible person.
no, he isn't, see above

Spooks is a known derogatory term for Africans and a have history of being used against them for a skin color they have no control over. as well, can you please change your avatar? piracy is no laughing matter nor should it be glorified, ask the somali's who are forced into it or victim of it because of circumstances created by international corruption or ask the people whose ancestors were raped or pillaged by pirates, thank you
