(Reuters) - The U.S. National Security Agency has bugged the United Nations' New York headquarters, Germany's Der Spiegel weekly said on Sunday in a report on U.S. spying that could further strain relations between Washington and its allies.
Citing secret U.S. documents obtained by fugitive former intelligence contractor Edward Snowden, Der Spiegel said the files showed how the United States systematically spied on other states and institutions.
Der Spiegel said the European Union and the U.N.'s Vienna-based nuclear watchdog, the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), were among those targeted by U.S. intelligence agents.
In the summer of 2012, NSA experts succeeded in getting into the U.N. video conferencing system and cracking its coding system, according one of the documents cited by Der Spiegel.
awwwww naaaawwwww
According to the documents, the NSA runs a bugging program in more than 80 embassies and consulates worldwide called "Special Collection Service". "The surveillance is intensive and well organized and has little or nothing to do with warding off terrorists," wrote Der Spiegel.
Interesting.
Oh shit NSA you really fucked up.
Fucking dickheads.
Seriously, This shit is so blatantly unethical I cannot fucking describe it.
Damn, we're good at bugging shit aren't we?
But how about we fucking STOP?
Did anyone expect any less?

This is really getting worrying.
To be completely honest, this is is the type of surveillance you should actually expect from organizations like the NSA.
WATERGATE!
WATERGATE!
WATERGATE!
And nobody in our Government, the UN, or the Governments being spied on, will do anything about it. :v:
Then again isn't it pretty much half-expected to find a bug in your embassy?
They're about to get a very harshly worded letter, which is kinda pointless as they saw it before the UN posted it off.

That's the way it seems for those in U.S. at least.
Other countries certainly aren't happy with the U.S. and a main focus of the media in other countries since Snowden's leaks has been U.S.'s overzealous surveillance.
better prepare for some really strongly worded letters
The us is a permanent member sooo

Yeah but as third world countries get fed up with the bullshit they'll start pulling out of the UN and will likely form their own pacts.
And then if enough nations leave the UN just becomes kind of void.
So if the NSA is doing all this stuff...what the hell has the CIA been up to? :v:

We don't. People are too fucking stupid and pussy to stand up to something that actually matters.
This shit should be a big deal. But no instead we get justice4traytray

Better yet, it's some of the third world, African and Middle Eastern countries that volunteer the most troops for the UN.
League of Nations part 2
Reminds me of Civilization V and having Spies at Ghandi's capital.
So...What is going to be done about this?
So...What is going to be done about this?
Nothing.
This stuff doesn't surprise me anymore.
So...What is going to be done about this?
Considering they've been doing the exact same thing (including spying on pretty much every person the world over) for like 50 years or something now, probably nothing.
This is pretty clear proof that the US really does run the world. The fact that a single state can do this and get away with it is remarkable.
So if the NSA is doing all this stuff...what the hell has the CIA been up to? :v:
Covering it up.
Why do I get the sinking feeling that this is contributing to the start of World War 3?

Working on creating more wars for the next generation.

Merkel is going to get the boot in Germany and they're basically being shuffled politically since it's huge shit over there right now.
