why was everything turned to brick and stone? that just looks awful
hey maybe he could actually show something other than the car?

Someone should show him this, he'll rip his hair out.

So he could put...
NORMAL MAPS EVERYWHERE
[sp]caps[/sp]
So many red bricks :psyduck:
The swooshy camerawork, floaty music and annoying transitions get old really fast.
Someone likes Burnout: Paradise City too much.
Destroys the feeling of GTAIV.
So darn shiny.
Because there isn't enough GTA IV videos in this section.
I like the original better.
This guy thinks he's so ~artistic~ probably
1) Increase contrast so that blacks and whites clip by a fuck load
2) Add normal maps to everything
3) Add ridiculous reflections to cars
4) ????
5) Make a video.
Floaty camera for 4 seconds TRANSITIONx50
Wow that has got to be the crappiest stock music I have ever heard.
I must be the only one who liked it. I'd love to try this texture pack.

The texture pack is very nice, so is the car, but everything about the editing of the video screams blandness.
That's a horrid abuse of Brian Eno's An Ending. It's nice when used properly (one of the segments at the end of a Top Gear episode, forgot which one), but used like this it's... blech. No wonder people think it's stock music...

I agree, pretty fucking awesome.
What movie have I also heard this from?

That is art.
He needs to take a crash course in effective editing and cinematography.
Circling around a car with annoying fades for 4 minutes = terrible video
The brick fest makes the city look like Italy!
I'll be honest, I think this makes GTA IV look more Mirror's Edge-like lighting-wise. I kinda like it, makes GTA IV look like a different game taking place in some modern Asian city (Like Tokyo or something). I'd try it out just to see if the overall feeling of the game changes.
The videos were annoying as fuck though.
This thread is a great example of a bandwagon.
About over half of the first video is spent on transitions, meaning it's like he's displaying his transition work more than his own textures.

28 Days Later "An Ending (Ascent)" by Brian Eno.

Ah I thought it was, I had 28 days later roaming around my head.

Not really, he's showing off the graphics, yet all does is show the car.... like oh look my graphics are amazing cause the car is so shiny.
damn fade transitions, I just want to see the video!
