oh my god, I LOVE "All Quiet on the Western Front"!

Death Watch, a WW1 horror movie but pretty interesting either way.
The Lost Batallion, I think it's called.
All Quiet on the Western Front
I definitely recommend this one. I was surprised to see how great this movie was considering I watched it in school. Five stars.
All Quiet on the Western Front
Seconded here, awesome movie. Better than most of today's movies, even without special effects and that junk
Death Watch, a WW1 horror movie but pretty interesting either way.
That movie was kinda weird.
Well, everything good has already been suggested. If you don't like old black & white movies then you aren't going to see the best one, that being All Quiet on the Western Front.
the red baron
Can anyone remember the name of a recent film set in World War 1 about Canadian troops? I heard it(Whatever it may be) was actually alright.
What the hell? Not a single mention of Sgt. York?
Swindlers List is a favourite of mine.
All Quiet on the Western Front is better as a book, but the movie was great also, even for an old black and white.
My Boy Jack is a pretty good one IMO. Watched it in English class a few months ago.

What makes it even more fantastic is that it actually happened. It shows human compassion and peace in the midst of a terrible war. They Cease fire, get to know each other, and even hold a mass. Then, back to killing. It's impossible to kill someone who you just met as a friend mere hours age. It's gut wrenching, but nevertheless, amazing.
Passchendaele

Oh yea that movie, can't remember the name... Think it was something like "Battle of...", not sure. I really didn't like it, it's basically Pearl Harbour in a WW1 (infantry) setting.
The movie is Paschendale, just read the youtube comments.
Guess I should have checked the second page...
Hey this thread is kinda good. No "You can't make a movie about it because they'd be sitting in a trench all the time". Only seen death watch and fly boys so far. But the other movies posted seem ++ movies. Gotta check em out sometime.
