I can see this being useful for people who travel a lot and want what the iPad offers, but smaller.

I do hope they revive it, hopefully making it feel like an iphone instead of this slippery piece of shit. You know when you use an iPod touch, it feels odd? But when you feel an iPhone it feels good? I don't know why they did that, but also the iTouch runs slow, after 3 apps are running in the background it has a hard time keeping up.
