If you liked the movie Waterworld, then I have no doubt you will enjoy this movie. For those of you who've played Fallout or Borderlands, then we have something to compare to. This movie is set after a war was struck out and destroyed humanity as we know it. It all starts when a group of powerful people enchanted the word of god as evil, or what has caused us so much tyranny. One man named Eli has been given the path from a higher power, those of you can call him God. Thus Eli has followed this path for the past 30 years without harm...

[sp]Was blind. We assume as the viewer that when he got the message from God, that God had cured his blindness. There was no blankness in his eyes to show that he was blind, and he interacted with objects in the environment to show that he was able to see. Though, I agree, the fact that he was blind, and that the bible was brail was an incredible twist.[/sp]

I don't get why people like this movie. The plot was weak, there wasn't enough action, character development was odd, and the end was a "big whoop" moment. There was only one good point in the entire movie.

I highly enjoyed this movie and the fact that it was a bible he was carrying around didn't bother me at all.

[sp]Eli wanted to use the book to preserve our history, Carnegie wanted to use it control people, which some people don't understand for some reason. Name another book that has more effect on society than the damn bible.[/sp]
